My self-summary
I'm a charismatic introvert, who spends too much time thinking about how to make life better for others and not enough time doing anything about it. I'm a proud liberal who thinks government is just us coming together to solve our biggest problems, and while this isn't the most important thing about me, this sentiment is, I think, the core of what defines me. But music fuels me, and is a part of every day and much that I do. I love and demand to be outside, whether it be to snowboard, to cycle, run, hike, play tennis, or just watch a baseball game and drink beer (go O's). I don't do well without the sun. My mind holds a frighteningly large amount of trivia, especially song lyrics.

I love listening to you, and discovering what is important to you (I'm an introvert, I'm really good at listening and reading). Sometimes my problem is I'm much more interested in you than myself, that I don't reciprocate, and I struggle to tell you much about me. But I'm working on it.

I need to travel (doesn't everyone on OKC), and get very antsy if too much time goes by without going somewhere. Though, I also love time around the house, and go crazy if too much time goes by without wasting a weekend at home.

I'm fascinated by people and their differences. I love meeting people with varying views on life & the world, it teaches me so much.
What I’m doing with my life
Snowboarding in the winter, cycling in the summer, running all the time. Trying to travel as much as I can. Keeping myself intellectually challenged as much as possible at work and at home, and trying to start my world famous band. (One of these may not be as true as the others)
I’m really good at
Recognizing songs (this drives people crazy when I'm flipping through radio stations very quickly), programming computers (it pays the bills... except that I do it in my free time too...), running, games of precision (like darts and, well, beer pong)
The first things people usually notice about me
Well the first thing they usually comment on is my eyes, so I guess that. They're very blue
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Boring lists ahead...

Music: I used to say 'anything but country' but, man, Kacey Musgraves and Sturgill Simpson...
Overall, I love bluesy rock. Jack White is something like my music hero. But my favorites are kind of all over the place... Pearl Jam, Radiohead, Kanye West, The Roots, DMB, Guns N Roses (old GNR that is... more of that bluesy rock), The New Pornographers, Jay-Z, The Black Keys, Muse, Led Zeppelin, TV on the Radio, Fiona Apple, Neko Case, The National...

Movies: Anymore, it seems like the ticket stubs I have are all for movies with super heroes in them... I don't know how that happened. It wasn't always that way. Last year though, Mad Max was incredible, The Martian was fantastic. The two greatest cinematic experiences I've ever had were seeing Gravity in 3D, and seeing The Matrix in the theatre. Pulp Fiction is my favorite movie of all time.

TV: I just don't watch as much as I used to, but my favorites right now are John Oliver, Samantha Bee, The Americans (god so good), Better Call Saul. All time favorite, never to be trumped, is The Wire.

Books I read anymore all seem to be science fiction. I adore Ted Chiang.
The six things I could never do without
-My friends, scattered though they may be
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How screwed up it is that so many people have life so hard
The universe, and how ridiculously huge it is
French, and how much of a failure I am for continuing to not learn it better
My friends, scattered though they may be
On a typical Friday night I am
Going for an early run, then crashing at home, watching a movie, listening to music, or playing video games. Would love for you to join me
You should message me if
You want to go running or biking together.

You love music too, and want to discuss it over a drink.

Or we're nothing alike at all, and you want to tell me how wrong I am. Really if you see anything at all interesting, I'm fun to talk to, promise :)
