My self-summary
If you know where Eriador is, then we will get along.

I am a proud nerd/geek. I am a huge gamer, but not in the way most people are. I play board games, not video games. These have become a bigger and bigger part of my life in the last few years. And if you're thinking "oh fuck this dude likes to play monopoly! That crap's for kids!" Monopoly is terrible, and the boardgame world is massive and varied just most people don't know about it. And I maintain everyone can find a game they like. Want to try one?

Lord of the Rings is everything! Like literally everything!!

Star Wars, fantasy novels, and comics take up my time as well (Damn! I just disproved my LOTR is everything claim). Favorite superhero is The Beast, but Storm is Bae.

My other main hobby is rock climbing. I climb 2-3 times a week. It's physically and mentally challenging, and it's so much fun that you forget you're working out, until the next day that is.

Straight edged
What I’m doing with my life
Curb-stomping fuckboy mortals at Lord of the Rings trivia.

I work at a drug rehab facility for young adults ages 18-24. I work with those who are recovering from substance abuse. It's a very trying and exhausting job but it's worth it. I love it.
I’m really good at
Getting crazy stupid on the dance floor. Ink drawings. Playing the cello with my feet. One of those may be a lie
The first things people usually notice about me
That I look like Forest Whitaker.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books:
I am beyond obsessed with Lord of the Rings. I read them every year (15 years so far). I have LOTR shirts, play LOTR trivia on QuizUp, have LOTR Boardgames, it's just all sorts of bad. But it's the greatest story ever told

I try and read a book a week, and I read almost strictly Fantasy novels. I read to get away from the world, and fantasy is the best at doing just that! I also listen to a ton of non fiction audiobooks.
My favorite authors of late are : J.R.R Tolkien(of course) Jim Butcher, R.A. Salvator, Robin Hobb, Ursela LeGuin, George R.R. Martin, J.K. Rowling, Piers Anthony, Terry Pratchet, Mary Roach, Brent Weeks, Brandon Sanderson, Scott Lynch...etc.

TV: Scrubs is the best show ever. The West Wing, Bones, Dexter, Conan, The Daily Show, The Office, Parks and Recreation...etc.

Movies: Too many to name, won't even try

Music: I like all kinds of music. Isn't that what everyone says? Or is it the "Whatever suits my mood" one.

Food: Honestly I'm kind of picky but I'll try anything at least once, and am really good at finding stuff I will like at restaurants where 99% of the food there I don't like. I'm open.
The six things I could never do without
Boardgames
Hugs
My Family/Friends
Shirley Temples
Rock Climbing
Books/Movies
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life, The boardgame I am designing, friends and family, food, I'm not sure what else, I don't keep track of my thoughts they skip around too much :)
On a typical Friday night I am
Winding down from working, sexy I know
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I need to get pumped up for a workout, or just something I need to get super hyphy on I listen to Kelly Clarkson's "Since You've Been Gone." That song gets me so jacked for some reason!

I drink Shirley Temples at bars and clubs. That shit is DELICIOUS!
You should message me if
You're interested! Though i do have some guidelines:

I have no interest in Religious zealots. I am accepting in every way no matter what your religious choices, I have no problem with any religion even fanatical ones as long as it is not pressed upon me. I do not believe in any way in Evangelism. That is where you try to convert people. I think evangelism is openly wrong and should never happen. Let me decide my own religion.

I don't like pessimists, or "realists." Realists are just pessimists who are trying to make themselves sound better than pessimists.

Also if you are prejudice in any way shape or form; for race, gender, religion, sexual orientation or anything, please don't talk to me.

Really I'm just looking for a girl who wants to go on adventures and play Boardgames, so let's do it!

-Nick
