My self-summary
A wise MAN becomes like the MAST on a sailing vessel, to his WOMAN, who is its SAIL.
She, from port to starboard, dances or bears down, under vespers, or torrent, known to her alone.
He STANDS, bound fast to the rigging, from keel to sky, by composure and conviction.
He does not react, whether she faces gale, or embraces calm.
Their balanced powers move the vessel forward.

I am a "catalyst" in most situations. You will often experience excitement, laughter, and surprises with me. A woman who is genuinely awake, and confident enough to try new things, more than anything else, is attractive to me. I am not one of those people searching for “change” -- I am inspired, in shape, and happy.
What I’m doing with my life
When people ask "What do you do" I might answer "About what?" "Elevator speeches" are so contrived! I'm no crowd-follower but I am adaptive and get along with most personality types. Adventure and Spontaneity DEFINITELY MATTER! After divorce I put my 2 young kids first. Now they're over 18 and mostly gone, so it's "my turn."

Some areas of my focus aside from owning a company for decades with offices in Denver and Atlanta: Founded a non-profit for sound US Food Policy cuz folks are getting sicker, after my writing went viral and reached millions. Yeah, virality can happen.

Unusual feature: An accomplished musician starting at age 5 with lots of experience on different instruments. Important trait: Very physical, enjoying workouts multiple-times weekly. Totally love 4-seasons sports. Something to share with you: Love to cook. Spend lots of outdoors time. Personal secret: Spiritually attuned. Chopra said (paraphrased) 'Spirituality is about your direct spiritual experience, while religiosity is about your belief in somebody else's spiritual experience."
I’m really good at
fixing things. playing music. technology. numbers. communication. noticing things others miss. great big heart.
The first things people usually notice about me
bright shining eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books? Mostly non-fiction. Lots of reading, especially about things others don't necessarily notice. Movies? Documentary and anything tightly scripted, adventurous, genuinely romantic or funny. I enjoyed Downton Abbey, Marco Polo & House of Cards. But Not a couch potato, I don't watch often. I have broad musical tastes, many many years of playing and practicing music. I don't prefer playing smoky, boozy, dank clubs, tho but my Funky Tenor Sax or Bass Guitar doesn't mind them, ha. Prefer really healthy food that does NOT taste like cardboard. Spices from the East intrigue me. Am a man who can REALLY cook and bake. (Cooked in a Catholic college kitchen for 400 girls and 60 nuns. And I was too shy back then. Go figure.)
The six things I could never do without
Flowing inspiration
lots of plants around me
fresh food made from scratch (chocolate is also in this category)
routine strenuous exercise
S-T-R-E-T-C-H-I-N-G, Pilates, Yoga, Muay Thai
Playing, listening to, admiring music
making a difference (or at least a garden)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
what it's going to take for us as a people/planet to develop beyond constantly creating a mess for ourselves and our heirs.
On a typical Friday night I am
with friends, my kids, or a special person. There's no Friday ritual. Wanna start one?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I lived just down the street from the "real" Godfather in Chicago as a child.
You should message me if
If not, why not?
