I care a lot about books and dogs and netflix and progressive politics and theater and pedagogy and feminist theory and wearing glitter all over.
I'm originally from New York City-- I came out to Ohio for college and stayed for my job. I just moved to Ohio City from Oberlin (class of 2015!!!), and I'm feeling all the ups and downs and inbetweens of learning a new city~
I founded a nonprofit children's theater out of Oberlin two years ago. Mostly middle schoolers, only Shakespeare. We're currently working on our fifth show: a Hunger Games inspired production of Julius Caesar! The kids are brilliant and inspiring, and I feel really lucky to be creating theater with such amazing collaborators.
I have two kittens. Their names are Natasha Richardson and Bagel D. Boy, and they are my entire world.
