My self-summary
In a relationship and looking for friends! Not a euphemism! Looking for platonic friends! I'm new to Cleveland and I don't know anyone and they don't have dating sites for friendship and I am very desperate for friends!

I care a lot about books and dogs and netflix and progressive politics and theater and pedagogy and feminist theory and wearing glitter all over.

I'm originally from New York City-- I came out to Ohio for college and stayed for my job. I just moved to Ohio City from Oberlin (class of 2015!!!), and I'm feeling all the ups and downs and inbetweens of learning a new city~

I founded a nonprofit children's theater out of Oberlin two years ago. Mostly middle schoolers, only Shakespeare. We're currently working on our fifth show: a Hunger Games inspired production of Julius Caesar! The kids are brilliant and inspiring, and I feel really lucky to be creating theater with such amazing collaborators.

I have two kittens. Their names are Natasha Richardson and Bagel D. Boy, and they are my entire world.
What I’m doing with my life
making friends, reading books, dancing to beyonce (poorly), making crafts of all kinds, writing poems, getting lost on wikipedia, registering voters, cooking for my friends, singing to my cats, feeling anxious, teaching middle schoolers tongue twisters, sleeping when i can, reading more books, feeling more anxious
