My self-summary
Huge nerd alert! I am really into nerdy British and non British dramas, obscure shows/films with cult followings, science fiction and fantasy books, and Pokémon games. I like all kinds of teas, and I like going for hikes, but besides going out for tea and hikes I'm not insane about outdoor activity. My sarcasm can get pretty abrasive and I'm into people that can reciprocate.

INTP if that means anything to you
What I’m doing with my life
I have my BA in Applied Linguistics with a minor in Italian, and am working on becoming a Spanish interpreter. I typically read frequently and have stacks of books of poetry that I've written. I cook a lot, and I'm getting decent, but mostly eat whatever runs away from me.
I’m really good at
-picking up foreign languages
-making sure all the blood stains are out of my trunk after i put the babies in the freezer
-making lanyards
The first things people usually notice about me
I've been told I have awesome hair. It's golden blonde and really wavy, down to my waist. Also my eyes are bright green with a spiky goldish brown circle around my pupils. Also the lack of soul. Just kidding. It takes people a while to notice that.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
TLDR; Sci fi/Fantasy, nerdy shit. Hip hop, indie, some EDM.
Minimally processed food, but not preachy about it.

Book- Wheel of Time Book 3
Show- Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, GoT (almost caught up)
Music- Tessanne Chin - Always Tomorrow on repeat

Netflix stuff:
Doctor Who, Supernatural, Sherlock, Merlin, all of the Star Trek, Buffy/Angel, Monty Python's Flying Circus, Firefly, Sons of Anarchy, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, Orange Is the New Black, Orphan Black, Revenge, Arrow, Veronica Mars, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Flight of the Conchords, Trailer Park Boys, to name a few. My guilty pleasure is serially watching documentaries about conspiracy theories and controversy, and the fact that I own and have watched all six seasons of Entourage.

Book preferences by author:
Vonnegut, Anne McCaffrey, Jim Butcher, Isaac Asimov, Patrick Rothfuss, Philip Pullman, Jean Auel, Orson Scott Card, Brian Jacques, Madeleine L'Engle, Tolkien, Neil Gaiman, C.S. Lewis despite all the blatant religious symbolism, even Chrisopher Paolini even though he's a terrible writer; also some philosophical lit by Ayn Rand. Don't worry, I'm not at all an objectivist. I'd say more of a classical liberal.

Some outliers: Bram Stoker's Dracula, The Alchemist, The Shadow of the Wind, Life of Pi, Choke, The Picture of Dorian Gray (even though I'd really like to read more Oscar Wilde), The Jungle, War of the Worlds (I'd also like to read more H.G. Wells)

I have strong opinions about James Joyce and if I ever met him I would give him an extremely dirty look and then make him sit down and explain.

I enjoy underground hip-hop, mostly Atmosphere and Grieves, but I also appreciate Nujabes, Eyedea, Brother Ali, stuff like that. Vivaldi and Chopin are my favorite classical composers. I've been out of the indie scene for a while but I always liked Arctic Monkeys, The Kooks, Archers of Loaf, that sort of thing.

I'm really into healthy eating, and have cut all preservative-laden foods out. But I don't judge! Eat how you want to eat! I mean, I LOVE donuts and pizza and root beer and Doritos tacos from Taco Bell. I have just chosen something different for myself.
Six things I could never do without
-a pure silver paring knife (doubles for ritualistic/practical purposes)
-several lengths of rope
-duct tape
-a couple vials of blood
-Saran wrap
I spend a lot of time thinking about
raw meat
comic book conventions
corrugated paper
Arthurian lore
dental implants
the meaning of the word "irony"
chewing noises in a quiet room
On a typical Friday night I am
roasting up some fresh pagan infant flesh
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I wash my hair once a week
You should message me if
you are smart and interesting, and willing to bring the towels and aprons if I bring the tarp and the buckets.
