My self-summary
Live in Long Beach, but can work anywhere, & am willing to re-locate to L.A. or its surroundings. Former midwesterner, & love living here. I am a funny, intelligent/intellectual, loving, sensual woman. I am spiritual, Love to travel - for 2 yrs. lived in a Mayan village in Mexico. Am a lawyer; I work with the disabled & am politically progressive. I love men - and miss having one in my life. I have 2 adult children whom I love; have a very flexible schedule, and always make time to see a good man, no matter where you live in S. Calif.
Love the arts; get so engrossed in paintings that often the guards have to kick me out of art museums at 5 PM. Also love jazz - esp. piano and sax, and other types of music. love dancin to classic rock!
What I’m doing with my life
What I am doing? Why waiting for you, of course! Besides the above, I write - short stories, poetry, non-fiction. Read - love well-written memoirs, spiritual books -Tolle, and good quality fiction, etc. I do like hiking, and keep promising to buy a bike . . . I love going to good movies, theater, and art museums.
I’m really good at
Listening and being there for people I care about. People always tell me I am easy to talk to. Also - love to laugh!
I am very supportive of the man in my life - I love listening to you discuss your goals, plans, dreams - GO for it!
The first things people usually notice about me
my friendliness, very blue eyes, and funny comments.

Six things I could never do without
1. my kids and my incredible friends
2. movies & books that are so riveting they make me forget everything else. (Uh, that's an earthquake you tell me? Hey - I can't leave because I just gotta finish this page first).
3. art and art museums
4. writing about things I care about
5. love and passion with a good kind man
6. travel
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how to get people employed again. How to get better lives & decent money for my disabled clients. How I can improve myself. My friends, my' kids' and how much I care about them. What kind of guy I should really be seeking. Places I would love to travel to, & the next art exhibits &/or Plays &/or (fill-in-the-blank) I really want to go to. How lucky I am! Do aliens exist? Was 9/11 a conspiracy? Is there a grand conspiracy behind all the conspiracies?? I think I might be thinking too much . . .
On a typical Friday night I am
off with friends - dancing, dining, at an art opening. Sometimes it is a quiet evening at home, and I am reading a great book.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
How much I would like to be with a wonderful man right now.
