My self-summary
I say "thank you", "bless you", and "drive safe" whenever I can. My soulmate would be somebody who is nice to waiters and deeply enjoys me telling them facts about whales. Not that I'm looking for those.

By which I mean soulmates. Not whales.

"Lifetime learner" - sans irony. Obsessive listener of Radiolab. I SOAK UP data and I think the kinship of curiosity is the best of kinships. Audiophile, cinephile, bibliophile. I'm pretty ruthless at Risk Munchkin Cosmic Encounter. The cinnamon on top of a cappuccino is my favourite part. I'm Canadian - so when I spell, I put "u" in a lot of interesting positions. Whenever I read the previous sentence I think it oughta be a pick-up line.

I wish somebody would give me a tarot reading.
What I’m doing with my life
Working my way through a karaoke bucket list and offering soft criticism of people's ecommerce UX and marketing.
I’m really good at
"I do things like get in taxis and say, 'The library, and step on it.'"

I invented a surprisingly popular drinking game involving capguns, moseying, and Ennio Morricone. Ask me about it.

I have this poetry thing I do.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have nice teeth, and I rarely show them when I smile. My usual smile is just kind of like a facial tic.

I hear I make a mean salsa, if you want to be forced to drink a lot of milk and get hospitalized for internal bleeding.
Six things I could never do without
I have really good relationships with my friends and family, and if I didn't have those I'd be crestfallen. My computer and my Moleskine are my closest friends besides. I make southern-as-fuck food every weekend morning. Rum and IPAs would round that out to six, right?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What important personal and legal document I'm likely to misplace next.
On a typical Friday night I am
Conscious and inhabiting physical space. If I am not the former, please give me a glass of water. I assure you, everything will be fine. If I am not the latter, call CERN for a hefty reward.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've got a thing for Arianna Huffington. ; )
You should message me if
If you know how to pilot this thing! We've lost an engine!!!

But, anyways, message me if you want to talk Infinite Jest, Mad Men, the Appalachians my sweet mountain home, the presidential tenure of Woodrow Wilson, Radiolab, or game theory. Just ending a long, long relationship, and I ain't damaged goods, but I also am not really serious about anything right now. I'll get there, but I'm not in a hurry. Come play boardgames with me and my friends or let's go sit in the muddy Greenbelt water and talk about the weaknesses of the Austrian school instead of making commitments.
