My self-summary
*UPDATE* - (Just moved back to Winnipeg from Key West) Canadian pharmacist who seems to be spending his life working his way around North America. I always find it a bit presumptuous talking about one's self on these sort of pages. Regardless of what you say the most important factor people will use to determine their opinion of you is that all-important first impression. What we communicate non-verbally often gives others the deepest insights into ourselves. So anyone out there wishing to know me, feel free to message me and judge for yourself. I noticed at the bottom it says I am" more aggressive" But also "more compassionate". Does this mean I pick fights but feel guilty if I win?

I am humourous, peripatetic, and compassionate
What I’m doing with my life
Recently moved to the Caribbean. Earlier in my life I spent 4 years in the Arctic, where I could occasionally see polar bears walking on the sea-ice outside my apartment window. I felt that some time in the tropics might just balance things out a bit. Surprisingly there are some similarities.......
I’m really good at
Moving to new places, settling in and adapting. So far I have adapted to Churchill Manitoba, Iqaluit Baffin Island, Lake Wales Florida, St. Croix US Virgin Islands, and Key West Florida. That sort of covers all the bases climate-wise.
The first things people usually notice about me
Used to be my eyes.....I will have to ask some friends I recently met for an unbiased answer.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
The Aubery/Maturin books and the Flashman series - Schindler's List, Pulp Fiction, the old Bond movies, most of the new comic book movies that were made using A-list directors and talented actors (sorry Adam West) just about anything by Guy Ritchie or Guy Maddin.
Six things I could never do without
My Visa, my passport, my MacBook (once you've gone Mac you'll never go back!), sunscreen (one melanoma is enough thank you very much), the love and support of my friends and family, and my iPod
I spend a lot of time thinking about
...whether I should break down and get a new car but I just spent $1500 to ship the old one here so getting rid of it now would make no sense but damn that Volvo C70 ragtop looks good but should I really go bopping around St. Croix with the top down when I have already had one lousy stinking melanoma that probably would have killed me by now if that dermatologist hadn't spotted it from across the room but I get checked now every 6 months so if another one did sprout it would get caught in time but then it would have to be cut out and like I don't have enough scar tissue what with the first melanoma and the broken back (just like me to have my first fripping malfunction the one time I opened low because I was laughing so hard at the uncontrollable spinning during my second freestyle jump and you don't have a hell of a lot of options at 700 feet other than to just ride the sucker in but in hindsite I should have landed in the pond, gators be damned and for pete's sake it wouldn't kill you to replace a waterlogged Cypres!) and the skull fracture and the major burn and Gawd now that I think of all that it makes me sound like such a complete klutz who probably shouldn't be allowed to drive anyway or even vote oh wait I can't vote down here because I'm Canadian and Cruzans can't vote for the president anyway so Bush aint their fault as they're constantly pointing out to you and maybe I should try decaf.
On a typical Friday night I am
recently....usually working
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Not a hell of a lot since I am always worried one of my nieces will wander in here. Let's see, I have all the seasons of "The Sopranos", "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" "Dexter", "Battlestar Galactica", "West Wing" and "Supercar".
You should message me if
You actually possess a sense of humour. Or if you know what "Supercar" was....
