My self-summary
I've been in the DC area since 2001, and I still love it. I'm a progressive, and am proud to fight for the issues and causes I believe in.

Note: my account was recently hacked. If you received a message from a "Henry" please don't respond to the personal info he listed. Pretty sure it's a scam.
What I’m doing with my life
First job in DC was six years in the media relations department of a national non-profit organization that advocates on civil liberties issues, I did press/communications work for a very progressive Member of Congress, did a stint with a national political campaign, and 8 years with the Obama Administration. Now I'm at a Civil/Human Rights advocacy org, back to fighting the good fight.

I love it - it's great to have jobs where you get to work on stuff you actually care about. I'm also involved with a few local organizations, and try to stay on top of the issues.
