I'm in the final few months of my PhD. I used to think I would make a career doing science, but now I'm more drawn to the tech industry. I'd be happy to tell you more about all that in person.
I like to think I'm a little bit more romantic than the OKCupid matching algorithm believes.
I think I might be more of a nerd than my profile lets on.
I will walk over sidewalk grates for you.
I'm generally a pretty positive and independent person, who is excited about life. Looking for people who feel the same way.
Don't worry, I won't make you go to hot yoga with me. We can just chat over a drink.
Update: Finished the PhD. I'm still in the dolphin lab, but I'm going to be working as a software engineer soon. My goal for the next year is to become a programmer nomad. That would look pretty cool on business card right?
I've also realized I can't seriously get good at rock climbing and weight lifting at the same time. I've been pretty focused on weight lifting, and that takes up a lot of my free time, but I still climb for fun once in a while.
Writing my thesis.
Planning vacations in which I climb things and also ones in which I stay closer to the ground.
Watching cat videos on the internet.
