My self-summary
Just deleted my entire old profile. A lot has changed in the last couple years...

I might be passionate about too many things; I'm working hard on learning to say no to some so I can concentrate on what matters most. This does not come easy to me. I find great meaning in my work. I find the everything, with all it's life, soil, carbon, light, lightless gravity, life... is breathtaking beyond belief. I try to see it in its natural state as much as possible.

I don't have a master plan but feel if you are doing what you love and are present for it you will find yourself where you want to be. Projecting some nonsense 10 years down the line only makes you fit the information coming in to your plan, as opposed to fitting your life to what is actually happening.

I'm a Viktor Frankl cognizant idealist.

My life is so full of beautiful things right now I can hardly believe it. I have a warm, kind, wise, and beautiful partner (@torusfinder) and a 11 month old son who is clearly on his 100th reincarnation and has a deeper soul than anyone I know. I am not looking for someone to come in and fix my situation. I'm looking for a kind, openminded woman who would like to share a part of my life -- which also means a part of our life -- to mutually expand our horizons and find increasing reasons to be where we are.
What I’m doing with my life
I teach medicine in a setting full of vibrant, alternatively thinking people who want to be healers, not fixers.

If someone had asked me 10 years ago to imagine the best job situation in the world, I would have described my job today (literally -- and yes, I know how to use that word). A couple of years ago I had a completely different job on another continent that also would have met that description.

I have a lot of dreams, all of them true.

Couldn't imagine being more lucky.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: East of Eden, Cannery Row, and other Steinbeck, Sex At down, Foer, God of Small Things, Lonesome Dove, All the Light You Cannot See, the wee remnants of one DJ Pancake.

Movies: Amelie, Little Miss Sunshine, most Wes Anderson (you get the picture). Also, City of God, There Will Be Blood and most other PTA.

Music: constantly changing. Bonnie Prince Billy is prob the best songwriter of the last couple decades. Also love Angel Olsen, Ezra Furman, War On Drugs, Chet Faker, Rural Alberta Advantage, Dirty Projectors, Arcade Fire, Lady Lamb the Beekeeper, Tune-Yards (refuse to use their syntax), Timber Timbre. Locally, AgesandAges, Lostlander, Radiation City, Typhoon (old list...).
On a typical Friday night I am
Out in the forest looking for some swimming holes.
Trying to redesign and build my house into a magical playhouse (building more nooks, lofts, ladders, libraries, soon-to-be-greenhouse-hot-tuberries)
You should message me if
Are kind, open, fun, and flexible.
