My self-summary
I'm Grant and I live in Seattle. I'm a pretty friendly fellow, who prides himself on his nerdiness, independence, and open mindedness. I enjoy say I like to hike but actually netflix-ing it up, finding cool new bars, basic nerdom things (sci-fi, history, comics), and attempting to travel the world (been to 3 continents, and would love to visit the other ones) I'm also, according to a very accurate and legit 5 minute internet quiz I took once when I was bored, an ISFP (in case that matters).

(If I actually know you in real life and we awkwardly see each other on here, like dude, just be cool about it and we can all have a good laugh)

Not really into hook ups, and pretty much monogamous, so I guess I'm looking for someone who wants the same thing. (if you're poly or something else, then good on you! I've got nothing against whatever type of relationship works for people, as there are many paths to happiness, it's just personally not for me).

Message me if you want to get to know me better!
What I’m doing with my life
I just moved to Ballard, so I'm back in the thick of the city, and falling in love with my area more and more every day.

Right now I'm working at a giant tech firm that exists in the heart of Seattle (you know the one), but I'm not exactly pleased to be there. So, in the meantime, I'm trying to figure out what I really want in life, whether it is grad school or something else entirely. I wanted to go into either Archiving or Historical Restoration, as I would like to one day save the sites that shape our collective history.

In the meantime though, spending time with cool people, drinking good beers, and living my life
I’m really good at
Planning events, locating and naming most countries of the world, figuring out subways in different cities, getting excited about historical matters, having opinions about citation styles, creating food so good, it's impossible to get off the dish (I'm not the best cook).

Also Karaoke, I love Karaoke at dive bars
The first things people usually notice about me
People say that I have a distinctive walk, and that I'm usually daydreaming about things. I also ramble a bit when I'm nervous
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music: New Wave, Punk, Post Punk, Indie, Alt, Garage Rock, 60s Rock. Basically, I'll listen to anything though
Books: Sci-Fi, ASOIAF, historical books, and more or less anything, I like to consider myself a equal opportunity reader,
Movies: Children of Men, Star Wars, Goodbye Lenin (I'm a bit of cinophile, so the list of favorite films would be too long to put on here.
Shows: HBO shows (GoT, Veep, Boardwalk Empire) British (IT Crowd, DW, Spaced), Parks, Mad Men, Breaking Bad
Six things I could never do without
Good Friends
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where will life take me, what I'm gonna do in the near future, where in the world I will travel next.

Also why so many 12 mans everywhere, like, move up to 13 if you can.

(I follow the sports except jk)
On a typical Friday night I am
That depends, as I generally like to let the evening take me where it takes me, be it Netflix, midnight movie showings, or the bars. I'm always up for adventure!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a pretty open book, so just ask
You should message me if
-If you have interesting fan theories about Game of Thrones you want to share with me
-You could introduce me to Simon Pegg
-If museums and old buildings are your thing
If you need a guide to Seattle
-If you want to Be the Rodan to my Mothra (i.e. we periodically emerge out of the sea to fight battles in the city)

Also if you want to get to know me more, we can save this hypothetical kaiju battle for later.
