My self-summary
Generally speaking, I am most happy when near bodies of water. I like going to new places and having new and different experiences, hopefully while meeting interesting people.

I never tire of being inspired by art and the beautiful things this world has to offer. Traveling, exploring nature and attending cultural events are a few of the ways I like to accomplish this. I like to cook and bake, finding recipes and trying them out keeps me motivated.

I dig a good conversation/debate so I often find myself playing devil's advocate in conversation merely to get a complex understanding of how/where/why people stand on the issue/topic at hand.

I've been living in Chicago for 4 years now and I still think it's pretty awesome.
What I’m doing with my life
Using metaphors. Finding the humor in day to day things. Riding my bike on the lake shore path. Becoming the adult version of myself.
During the weekday hours I make things look pretty for photographs.
I’m really good at
Reading maps.
Playing 20 Questions.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
The last book I read was Nation of Rebels. It was pretty awesome. I don't always read books, but if I do it's usually in that genre, or its an instructional/visual/documentation/research book on something new I want to learn.

I like a lot of kinds of movies. Mostly if they have a well thought out plot and have good acting I enjoy them. Some of my favorites are: Rear Window, Network, This is Spinal Tap, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, Big Fish, Kill Bill, The Jerk, anything with Paul Newman. I saw Shawshank Redemption for the first time recently, and it had a profound impact on me.

Show: I've been to more music shows than I could ever even try to count. I also love live theatre and anything artistic. Puppet shows are cute as shit. T.V. Shows: I think Mad Men and Breaking Bad was some of the most perfect tv cinema ever. As of recent: Broad City, The Americans.

Music: I like a lot of different kinds of music too, mostly old stuff. Anything from classical to blue grass to motown and rap(old school), punk rock, surf rock, garage rock, rockabilly, indie rock, classic rock, igneous rock, and even some grunge and disco.
My favorite band is The Clash.

I want to try new foods and flavors all the time. My top genres are Mediterranean, Vietnamese, Thai and sushi. Oh, and Pizza. Cowabunga Dude!
Six things I could never do without
for the sake of not being difficult about the vast absurdity of this question, here you go:
Water *clean
Good Beer
I spend a lot of time thinking about
That clouds are amazing! The Environment and how fucked up it is that people don't care about it's deteriorating condition as much as they should be. As of this recent election, I find myself thinking that I need to start something to make this world better. Even if it's a small thing..

you put some effort into doing things together, i.e. ideas/plans about an event you want to do, place you'd like to travel to, or just picking an interesting place to eat once in a while.
