My self-summary
I am what I am;
a little bit of a train hobo, a little bit of a constant student, been working service industry jobs most my life and I love it. I recently opened a small coffee bar in albuquerque called Trifecta Coffee Company. . I am an avid reader, writer, lover of the blues, old timey music, country, punk, metal, anything sad and anything that makes my head, feet or anything else move. I love to learn. I am shy and an admitted romantic. I love crosswords, coffee shops, dive bars, and can be a creature of habit. Sir Ernest Shakelton has gotten me through many a hard time with "grin and bear it growl and go."

I am delightful, adventuresome, and sometimes bearded
What I’m doing with my life
Owner and operator of trifecta coffee company on montano just east of Edith.

Always remembering my morning coffee, the new york times crossword and taking a big breath of fresh cold air into my lungs.

I have two degrees... History and Anthropology. I am an ex bartender.
I’m really good at
cooking, yup thats right i cook and i enjoy it! baking scones, mexican wedding cookies, biscuits, pies, and other goodies. I love reading, writing, riding trains, people watching, playing
harmonica, watching my friends play music, I am a good listener,
can tell a good story and if i do say so myself, I cook a mean set of hash browns. Maybe even make you some if you want.
The first things people usually notice about me
My blue eyes. I also have one ear smaller than the other
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
love hash browns, bacon, seafood, home cooking, love all sorts of movies, and music and books. I read anything I can get my hands on.

I love reading poetry, Hayden Carruth, Wendell Berry, Gary Snyder, short stories like those of Flannery O'Conner, John Cheever, etc and on and so on and historical fiction and history books- modern, political, western, civil war, labor history and regional.

Music all of it, especially if it make me feel something. Punk, metal, folk, rock and roll, willie nelson, heartless bastards, otis redding, SAM COOKE!!!!! merle haggard, waylon jennings, george jones, Townes Van Zandt for the love of god, guy clark, scott biram, lucero, drag the river, break my heart with music cause its all i've ever known. give me a sad train song and i'll give you a story about my friends and some trains i rode and some whiskey i drank and a girl who broke my heart. they are all good stories, happy stories, music keeps my head above water.

Movies, well I have a big soft spot for studio Ghibli movies, Clint Eastwood westerns, Japanese classics like Ran and the Seven Samurai, and love Zorba the Greek,

I love books, Studs Terkel's autobiography and the short stories of Raymond Carver and I love Cormac McCarthy, The Border Triology, All The Pretty Horses, Blood Meridian etc... all good. James Agee "Let Us Now Praise Famous Men"
The six things I could never do without
crosswords, coffee, espresso, good library of books, a garden, a large selection of music, a solid pair of boots, friends, and of course living a life worth living whatever that may be. I still haven't figured it out but it does include campfires and my buddies rocking out. Oh and of course orange juice.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
way too much and trying my damnest not too be a worry wart.
On a typical Friday night I am
working and looking for something to do afterward. If nothing else, reading.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've got two tattooes, one of a heart in a boxcar and a stick and
poke of a can of beans that my best friend gave me in his backyard
years ago.
