My self-summary
Looking to meet a passionate, take- charge kind of man who makes my heart swoon, will send me into a fit of spontaneous laughter with his edgy sense of humor and can fix my tech gadgets (this is simplifying of course but is to say I'm not totally beyond gender roles). I also appreciate ambition but prefer someone who defines themselves primarily by their interests and personal values -- not their profession or their bank account. I've created a great life for myself but still really value what companionship can offer -- hopefully romance, new experiences and growth for us both.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm in public relations in the financial services industry. It's a good job but "my life" happens outside of work and includes many interests.
I’m really good at
playing Scrabble. Seriously. Try me.
The first things people usually notice about me
I look much younger than my years
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I have some creative hobbies like photography and jewelry-making and also enjoy running, biking, yoga/pilates, etc. As for books, I have a bad habit of reading lots of books at one time. I generally tend to prefer non-fiction. Currently reading or recently read Lab Girl, Saracen, The Moth, The Other Wes Moore, Just Kids, Let's Take the Long Way Home. Not a huge movie fan - I like documentaries and Indy films best. TV: John Oliver and some of the new Amazon/ Netfix shows like Transparent and Catasprohe are really phenomenal. Guilty pleasures include Dating Naked and Shark Tank-- the latter appeals to the latent entreprenuer in me. I DVR everything and now refuse to watch any commercial. As for my humor I may look like a lady but I like it raunchy/edgy: Louis CK, Chris Rock, John Oliver, Bill Maher, Howard Stern, etc.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
What motivates people and makes them who they are. What they are thinking when they do inconsiderate/self-destructive things and why others are so kind and generous. I guess I'm thinking about psychology...

You should message me if
You'd like to meet up for 30 mins for a cocktail or coffee. I don't think you can sense chemistry from a profile, so I'm up for meeting briefly in person before committing to a long date and definitely not interested in endless email correspondence.
