Well, I'm a nerd, first and foremost, I dont think my last summary pointed that out very well so I figured I would start there. I'm co-owner of a comic shop which is pretty sweet. Which means that I do a lot of reading and I'm never really caught up on it (yes regular books too, not just comics), in the chaos that is my reading backlog i have found the joy of audio books, have someone read to you while your driving, or working, or lazily looking at the ceiling. With that I'm also a big anime/manga fan, something I've loved since I wasa kid, and dont go thinking anime is for kids because its cartoons, I dare you to watch Graveyard of the Fireflies and not cry (I tried not to but its just so sad). I'm also a big video game player, I guess I'm not a fan of the term "gamer" not because it's bad or anything, just that it's overused. RPG's are my go to game but I'll play just about anything. Actually, I have been playing a lot of Payday 2 lately so there's that.
Ok, I haven't scared you away yet? Good :D glad your still reading. To continue then.
My comic shop is a side hobby, I do tech support to pay the bills, not glamorous but it paid the bills. At the moment I'm a contractor at the company I work for but i'm working to get hired on as a company employee, you know, job stability, insurance and all that. I'm a 80's and 90's music junkie, I love the older rock and metal music. Dont get me wrong, I can listen to just about anything. All good music has soul, sometimes you just have to be in the correct mindset to feel it. But if I had to pick something to listen to it would be that... Or Alt Rock. I do like going to concerts but it's been a while (apart from summer fest) because I can't finds people to go with, party poopers.
I'm in the middle on the "going out" or "staying in" thing. I like to go out with my friends, especially on a Friday night (its kind of our ritual now) but I also like to stay in and just watch a movie or a tv show, I have recently been introduced to Dr. Who, damn British and your good time travel show. I feel a nice balance of both is good. And to get this out there, yes i do live with family right now, i fell on hard tkmes for a while and my family was super supportave and is helping me out so if your wondering, no, i dont have my own place but im looking to move back out soon. On that subject, my family is very important to me, i love my parents to death, they are the fucking best, thats the best way to put it. To me family always comes first, this goes for other people as well. Family emergency? Dont care what were doing, if you have to go then go, its not a problem.
Well, that was a lot of info, or just a lot of gobbledygook I'm not sure. But if you have anything you want to know about me, the universe, or just want to talk philosophy (because its fun) send me a message.
