My self-summary
If my username didn't give it away to you, I graduated from Virginia Tech with a BS of CS. (That's Computer Science, but its a better joke abbreviated). I used to work in the US, but I'm now working here in Switzerland as a Network Engineer.

I'm a simple person looking for simple things. I am passionate about pretty much all things related to computers, and enjoy video games.

My other passion is travel. I've booked over a three quarter of a million miles flying and countless more while driving in the past 5 years. I've been all over the US, and my goal is to see the world. I really enjoy having easy access to Europe, and look forward to seeing a lot more of it. I would love a have a good friend to travel with. Traveling with my friends is fun.

I also have an interest in cooking and wine, especially as here in Switzerland it's hard to find some of my favorite foods from the US. I sometimes crave the Mexican and American dishes from home. I'm not very much a wine expert, but do know what I like. I especially like wines from less well known wine regions like the Kahketi region of Georgia.

I am adventurous, meticulous, and technologically-inclined. (These really are crap, I know, but I can't come up with any good adjectives. I'm not an English major, and didn't stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night).

I also tend to be longwinded and thorough... I see TL;DR in response to many emails.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently working for a a company out of the US who has recently moved me to Switzerland. We do a lot of customized solutions for telecommunications companies. If you're interested in hearing about computer and internet security, I can talk all day. If you're not, then I hope you've found something else in my profile that's more interesting!

I also travel hack in my free time. I've learned quite a bit about airlines and how they work, and use that knowledge to get great deals on plane tickets and see the world, usually in first or business class.
I’m really good at
Technology. I can figure out pretty much any technology from your DVR to plane guidance systems. It's not the only thing I can do, but I mean I'm really good at Tech.

Travel Hacking. I can talk for hours on it. I've flown First Class on some of the best airlines in the world for very little cash out of pocket.
The first things people usually notice about me
(This is a complete edit by his real life friend... how would he
know what people notice?) Honestly I think the first thing people
notice is his personality. You don't have to talk to him for long
to have a smile on your face and realize this is a genuinely
sincere guy. Oh and since everyone does something physical, you
will notice that he is tall. Then again you could read the bio on
the right and know that, which I assume you have already done.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Stieg Larsson Trilogy (The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo books), anything I can read on my Kindle. I also recently read Daemon, Freedom (tm) and Kill Decision by Daniel Suarez both fantastic books. I currently have Cryptonomicon and Freakanomics queued up.

Movies: Any. Really I'll watch just about any movie, at least once. Comedies and action movies tend to be my standby movies.

TV Shows, in no particular order: Archer, South Park, Top Gear, Fifth Gear, Family Guy, Mythbusters, Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown . Bonus points if you know what Top Gear and Fifth Gear are. :-D

Music: Any. I try to steer clear of Country, but everything else is generally fair game. I've been really into EDM of late, but my iPhone playlist right now, has a little bit of everything, but including Florence and the Machine, Ladyhawke, Childish Gambino, Krewella, Ke$ha, Nelly, The Glitch Mob, Daft Punk, Ellie Goulding, Skrillex, AWOLNATION, Calvin Harris, The Prodigy, Lindsey Stirling, The soundtrack from "The Social Network" and some Nine Inch Nails. And that's a very small sample.
Six things I could never do without
1. My dog, Cocoa
2. Smart Phone
3. Laptop
4. Internet
5. Good friends and family

Really... That's about it. I can live without just about everything else.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Future plans. I like to plan things in advance, but I am very flexible when things change. I typically don't travel with a plan anymore, I get to a city and then decide what I want to do. There's definitely something freeing about not having a set schedule upon arriving to a new city.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with friends usually at my house or their houses. We'll
watch movies or playing Cards Against Humanity and grilling. I like going out with good friends as well, but a night at home is good too.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a self diagnosed introvert therefore, I know i'm not good at starting conversations, and if I manage to end up in one, it takes a bit for me to get comfortable.
You should message me if
you want to talk, or want to know more about me. You can try to quiz me on random things if you like, I'm a treasure trove of useless information :-D
