My self-summary
I want to see the world...all of it. I believe that socks and shoes are overrated and that breakfast foods were meant to be eaten any time of day. I often think I was born in the wrong time period. Amelia Earhart is my hero. I enjoy a good game of Scrabble. I love to run, hike, and spend time outside. I'm obsessed with basketball (Go Hoosiers!) I'm a serious political junkie and will literally drop whatever I'm doing to campaign for Hillary Clinton if she decides to run for president. I would spend all of my money traveling in a heartbeat.
Bust most importantly, everything I do, I do for the glory of God.
What I’m doing with my life
I will finish a dual master's program in History and Library Science at the end of the school year and then I'm moving to Washington, D.C. to start a new adventure! I plan to become a congressional archivist. My dream job is to work on the staff of a U.S. Senator.
I’m really good at
I'm a good listener -- I don't talk a lot, but I'll always be there for people who need to talk. This is really nerdy, but I'm good at doing research -- so if you need help on a research paper, hit me up!
The first things people usually notice about me
The first thing people usually notice about me is that I am extremely driven and hardworking -- maybe a little too much.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'll read just about anything, but I really enjoy Ernest Hemingway, Sherlock Holmes stories, Jane Eyre, and my favorite book of all time is A Severe Mercy by Sheldon Van Auken.

I love old movies -- Katharine Hepburn, Jimmy Stewart, Carey Grant, and Humphrey Bogart.

For TV -- I'm obsessed with Castle. Parks and Rec. The West Wing. The Daily Show.

As far as music goes, my taste is pretty eclectic. I really like Brandi Carlile, She & Him, Joshua Radin, Mumford & Sons, The Weepies, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Iron & Wine, Alison Krauss & Union Station, Mat Kearney -- just to name a few.

I love Italian food. And Turkish. And Greek. And Mexican. Breakfast cereal is my favorite snack.
The six things I could never do without
I'm assuming these would be the six things I would take to a deserted island, or something like that.
1. Books, books, and more books -- I love to read!
2. An endless supply of breakfast cereal -- it's my favorite snack!
3. My Macbook -- I take it everywhere.
4. My friends and family -- They mean the world to me.
5. Coffee (and other coffee related beverages) -- I'll admit it, I'm an addict.
6. Basketball -- it's my favorite sport.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time thinking about the future. And since I study history, I think about the past a lot too. And traveling. I'm a serious daydreamer.
On a typical Friday night I am
hanging out with a few friends -- cooking (I make a mean pancake), watching movies, playing games (Scrabble, Bananagrams, Mario Kart), etc.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a virgin and plan to keep it that way until I'm married.
You should message me if
