My self-summary
**Please read with a tinge of sarcasm, yeah, I just used tinge in the first with it, please**...I'm that witty, intelligent, caring, confident dude your mother always told you to date. Your friends will love me and your ex-boyfriends will moderately dislike me. I'm like Adam Levine, minus the tattoos, the womanizing, and the millions of dollars. Ok no, I'm more like a sexy Dalai Lama, with Obama swag, and a Morgan Freeman persona (G-d roles just come naturally to me). I am passionate about art, music, movies, writing self-summaries, exploring LA, you, history, politics, ideas, movies, and I do Bar Mitzvahs and Quinceaneras on the weekends...yes I'm cultural versatile like that. I also do the travel thing, and love learning about different cultures. I've been to Japan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Singapore, Germany, France, Malaysia, and South Carolina (basically a foreign country).
What I’m doing with my life
I'm an Associate Director of Diversity and find it really rewarding, encouraging students to reach their potential. I teach college courses about racism, social justice, and how to save the biggie.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh, learning random facts, listening to others, playing tennis and basketball, problem solving, and helping people when they need it the most.
The first things people usually notice about me
My breasts...not cool ladies, and my hazel eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm a newspaper, TIME and Economist magazine man. I like reading about philosophy, education, history, and mostly non-fiction. I heard if you read Pride and Prejudice backwards, it's just really hard.

Musically, I like Vampire Weekend,yOya, Sufjan Stevens, Joan Baez, Beirut, Atlas Genius, Eels, Indie bands, older hip hop, 2pac, Biggie, Drake, classical music, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Coldplay, Stars, Noah and the Whale, Cat Stevens, and random things I hear on the radio.

Shows: Modern family, Simpsons, Family Guy, The IT Crowd, Curb your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld, Jeopardy!, Bored to Death, Arrested Development, The Colbert Report, and The Daily Show.

Movies: Foreign films, 12 Years a Slave, documentaries, Kings of Summer, Little Miss Sunshine, Garden State, 500 Days of Summer, Rango, The Trip, Austin Powers, Submarine, Airplane, Terri, Napoleon Dynamite, Shawshank Redemption, Adventureland, 8 1/2, Wall-E, Toy Story, 127 Hours, Last King of Scotland, Midnight in Paris, Chinatown, Casablanca, Hanna and Her Sisters, So I Married an Axe Murderer, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World, The Master, Lincoln, Argo, and Life of Pi, Hyde Park on the Hudson, and Ed Koch.

Food: I like trying new restaurants, vegetarian/vegan things, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean, and Ethiopian.
The six things I could never do without
1) Witty banter
2) Travel
3) People who are smart, funny, and entertaining!
5) Art and film
6) Friends, family, all that good stuff.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The world, society, politics, history, the future, work, family, and friends...probably in that order.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends, watching a movie, checking out an LA event, bar trivia, museum exhibitions, or playing sports.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I crapped my pants when I was five, so we should have a lot in common.
You should message me if

4) Interested in good conversation, laughing, and seeing new places.
5) You are critical of race, religion, and politics.
6) Bonus points for being athletic and outgoing. Don't worry, perfection is optional :)
