My self-summary
I am a lot of fun to be with. Making people laugh is what I do best.... I am a dad, an actor/writer/improviser/teacher/mail order bride.... "One of these things just doesn't belong here, one of these things is not the same. One of these things just doesn't belong here. Now it's time to play our game"
I'm a mixed bag of lollies. Love being in the public eye, and love my 'me' time. I am always seeing the funny side of life, yet I simultaneously can be moved to tears, or quite serious about things like mindlessness in people and sheep mentality.
I don't believe it's my responsibility to re- adjust the toaster after toasting (burning) crumpets, and as a regular user of public transport, thank Metro for matching my tendency to be late, meaning I rarely miss trains. Although, as the human mind is ever adjustable, now I am conscious of that, I will probably begin to miss late trains having factored the Metro time frame in.
What I’m doing with my life
Outside of the usual kids & work commitments, I am wandering in a dream searching for love. It has its ups & downs, I do have a sore neck from all that 'looking'. I work as an actor, whether that be in the corporate sector, Theatre, Impro, Film or TV. If I didn't do the creative stuff, I'd be institutionalised.
I’m really good at
Chatting, tennis, making people laugh, writing, singing, being a sounding board, coming up with ideas, kissing, warmth, tenderness and being spontaneously playful. Oh and I am really good at empathy.
The first things people usually notice about me
...is that I am there, or, if not, not too far away. Then they might notice my eyes and smile and disarming sense of humour. My energy is contagious and influential too. I was once described as being "a Festival". I'd go to it, but I don't have tickets on meself.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love reading online media, mainly The Age. Movies? Anything by the Coen bros and Charlie Kaufmann. Love mostly non mainstream flicks... World movies, Cult movies and classics. Music... Radiohead ("A Moon Shaped Pool" is a must hear!), 90's indie, some classical and electronica. Not into cRap Music, or Glad wRap either. I work around the edges of that stuff but I don't get it straight! Does my head in!! Classical Hip Hop is cool. Big fan of MC Beat Hoven. No time for your classical boy bands either..."Chai-Cough-Ski Trio"?? Bleah! So wet!! Food? Pretty well anything except spicy foods (very mild ok, otherwise I feel like I am going to spontaneously self combust!!)
The six things I could never do without
Intimacy, my kids, my work, Music, coffee, laughter
I spend a lot of time thinking about
This question! Actually...I've thought about it, and now that's over, I think about how much I love the feeling of timelessness that comes when I am connecting with someone. And how to convey that I am a great catch. And whether that was a good/bad thing to say, because it could be misconstrued as being cocky, despite my intention, which was to convey that I'm a great catch.
On a typical Friday night I am
Slowly but surely watching it become Saturday
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am not a mail order bride. Yet!
This song was written about me being on Ok Stupid....

Love it!
Caveat... I am after one big love....with the lot!
You should message me if
....You want to hear something more than....
"How's tricks?"
Or "Hi".
Or, "I'd like to suck your toes"
Or, if you are the slightest bit curious about me, cos in the flesh, I have plenty of upside! If you want to meet a mindful funny loving caring warm tender clever guy, you're asking a bit much, but I can give it a shot. You will be very surprised. Or at the very least, you'll have a good time.
