I'm looking for authentic people without expectations
Peppermint rooibis mate tea
Yoga as a state of being (not an appropriating work-out)
Listening, learning, loving...and making mistakes along the way :)
Cooking you dinner
-'The Power and Promise of Ecofeminism' Karen J Warren
'Things Fall Apart' Chinua Achebe
-'Yes Means Yes, Visions of Female Sexual Power and a World Without Rape'
-'Cunt' Inga Muscio
-I really love Alan Watts; 'The Wisdom of Insecurity', 'This is It', 'In My Way'
-The zen buddhist text Awakening of Faith
-The 'Tibetan Book of Living and Dying' by Sogyal Rinpoche
-'The Ethical Slut' Janet Hardy and Dossie Easton
-Hemingway, particularly his poems
The list goes on, but that's enough for now yea?
I like to watch documentaries, but also enjoy a well crafted piece of cinema. Broken Cameras, is a very amazing and important film. Some others: Pulp Fiction, Amélie, Almost Famous, City of God, My Life as a Dog, Shawshank Redemption, Spirited Away, Akiro, etc..
Well...you'll just have to ask me. In brief, I like everything from Delta Blues Folk to Deep House to Gypsy Jazz
all the possible ways to love
whether humanity is a fruit or infection of the earth
Also, it seems to be necessary; don't bother messaging me if you're not interested in hanging out. Or if you're far away and want to be a long distance pen pal, say so. I'm very disinterested in shallow correspondences that stretch on for weeks and are only composed of what you ate for lunch yesterday, or what kind of music you like, or blah blah. Let's get to know each other in person. If you're not looking for this, then keep browsin'!
Let's use this as a conduit to meet interesting people--not a crutch for living in a fictitious world ;)
