My self-summary
Thirty something post punk polyamorous New York Lawyer.

I'm a vegetarian but not a preachy one (more like a lazy vegan these days... I am somewhat artsy, somewhat nerdy, somewhat guyish, somewhat metro/fashionable, somewhat polyamorous (see bottom for full details), somewhat of a vegetable gardener (I make awesome heirloom tomatoes with my hands and dirt), some kind of a rugby player (in a prior incarnation), something of a roller derby coach (in another prior life), somewhat Jewish, but somewhat agnostic, I believe the term for Gen X'ers is "cultural Jew," somewhat political, well to be fair I'm kind of insanely political...

I am a save-the-world lefty do-gooder type policy person at heart, and I am also drawn to the horse racey election and personality parts of politics (summary: I am both hack and wonk...) I am kind of a talker... but I assure you, there is something behind all of it...

I have a penchant for this fantastic city we live in...
no really, we live in a fantastic city.

Also, I have a penchant for: 3 piece suits, designer jeans, pocket watches, vintage tees, cuff links... vinyl records (Music is kinda important to me... Black and White (not fucking half-moon, or half-and-half cookies for those not from the NYC), half sour kosher pickles, dried cranberries, fancy vegan ramen, and bahn mi... single malt scotch (Laphroaig still my favorite)

Also also, I have a penchant for the ellipsis...(clearly)
What I’m doing with my life
Keeping the streets safe for crack dealers!...

Self employed lawyer doing lawyery things that I never expected to be doing. Some of these things make me very happy... some make me shrug, but pay... mostly, I make it a point not to fuck anyone over... Wish me luck.
The first things people usually notice about me
Hair... its red, though a little blonder as I make my way through my 30s.

food- spicy stuff, Thai, Indian, any vegetarian/vegan variation on Jewish food, Bahn Mi, Bubble Tea, diner food is great, I feel that beets are the most underrated vegetable. I dig cooking, my latest endeavor is making really amazing ramen, and chickpea cutlets (a really great vegan chicken cutlet alternative).
Six things I could never do without
New York City (all 5 boroughs... well, 4 anyway)
Records, (big round ones)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I once cheated on a High School math regents exam. The proctor had apparently worked all the multiple choice questions out and had her answer key in my face while she answered the question of a person sitting next to me. Seriously, this was not planned at all, I got maybe 7 or 8 answers... mea culpa.

Overall I'm not a terribly private person, I'd be willing to admit most anything to people about myself.
You should message me if
You found something here that you dig about me, might like to meet me, and can carry your half of the conversation.
