My self-summary
"Whatever I take, I take too much or too little; I do not take the exact amount. The exact amount is no use to me."

I am a(n)
-restaurant manger
-functioning workaholic
-craft beer specialist (the research is as good as you think)
-foodie (hate using that word, but it gets the point across)
-amateur cocktailer (noticing a Freudian trend?)
-not-always-practicing martial artist
-fight fan
-unabashed dork
-information sponge
-ink collector

I work some pretty rough hours, so getting to meet people other than drunk college kids (there are a lot at my place) can be challenging. I still love giving people food and booze and making them happy. It beats selling insurance. It was a phase. Please don't judge me.

The online experiment for dating has produced mixed results. So have all other forms of drumming up prospects, so I'll allow for the continuation.
What I’m doing with my life
I am
-laying the first bricks of an empire.
-making people happy, one delicious beer at a time.
-trying to make little improvements to keep myself from running off the rails.
I’m really good at
-making lists
-left hooks
-margaritas (I did manage several Mexican spots)
-choking people (I mean in the martial arts way....mostly)
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm a ridiculous smart ass.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Philosophy and history. Nietzsche, Dennett, Dawkins, Schoppenhauer, Emerson, Gladwell.

Movies ; The Way of the Gun, Old School, Irreversible, Anything hysterical or disturbing.

Music: Everything, and I do mean anything. El-P, Queens of the Stone Age, Muddy Waters, George Clinton, The Wu-Tang Clan, Aesop Rock, Mozart, Slayer, The Blood Brothers, Ministry, Tool, Converter, The Black Keys Etc

TV: Not so much. Only shows I ever got into with a plot were The Shield (and Now Sons of Anarchy because it's the same writer), the X-Files, and Game of Thrones. The internet made my addiction to The Daily Show possible, so I have no use for cable. A good Nat Geo show will keep me entertained.
The six things I could never do without
Google, beer, coffee, exercise, fried food, sleep.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I'm going to put in my mouth.
On a typical Friday night I am
You should message me if
You're a rocket scientist, lingerie model with a passion for cooking.

If that happens to not be you, but you're chill, trying to find your version of success, have a gym membership and want to grab a pint of delicious beer sometime, I'd like to hear from you anyway.
