I think we can all agree its difficult to describe oneself without being boastful, but I'll do my best. I like to stay active from going to the gym to taking my dog on hikes. I'm an adventurous eater and like to try new restaurants and explore the diverse cultures of Southern California. I love traveling, I don't get to do it much but I'm definitely planning some future trips at the moment. Family is real important to me. I'm an Uncle to 2 nieces and 2 nephews, and I'm also certified in blanket fort building according to my nephew. On my free time, I play guitar, hang out with friends, and make sarcastic and witty remarks.
What I’m doing with my life
I am an entertainer for a special events company, we specialize in weddings and corporate events. I'm basically like a modern day wedding singer except I dabble in a lot of different wedding related stuff. I'm also an ordained minister, I received my license so I can officiate for the LGBT community but I've been doing it for friends and family too. Honestly its been the best wedding present I can ever give to to my friends. "What was that Aunt Julie? You bought them an omelette maker? Well I just gave them the gift of Marriage! best gift ever!" *drops mic*
I’m really good at
I enjoy long walks with a jar of nutella in my hands... I'm totally not kidding, I love to cook, I'm actually known for my crepes and oatmeal chocolate chip pie. And I just invented a Thai Tea Tiramisu. So yeah, I like to experiment and combine styles of foods. I also play guitar and sing. Occasionally I'll do an open mic to practice. I also play a little piano. I'm not going to lie, I may have used the singing and guitar thing to get out of trouble, but rarely do I put my foot in my mouth. ;) I'm an entertainer, so I'm a song and dance man. I learned a lot of ballroom dance from my theater years, so I enjoy taking a girl dancing too.
The first things people usually notice about me
I wonder what kind of asian/latino he is? I think my name only encourages my racial ambiguity.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books - I think every guy has a personal love for catcher in the rye. Love in the time of cholera is one my favorites as well as the works of Pablo Neruda and Ernest Hemingway. I think everyone should read to kill a mockingbird as a kid, probably one the best stories about heroism and tolerance. I also enjoy comic books and graphic novels.

Movies- I speak in movie quotes. I literally can't name all the movies I love. I'll just say this, I'm looking for a girl thats with me till end of the marvel credits...

TV- A lot of shows I loved are long gone and streaming on netflix: FRIENDS, How I met your mother, The office, Parks and Rec, Spartacus. But my current favorite shows are kind of geeky: The Flash, Arrow, and Gotham. I love Orange is the new Black, Daredevil and The unbreakable Kimmie Shcmitt. I really enjoy BBC documentaries and Sherlock. And of course I'm a walking dead fan. I just finished west world, and I think it might be one of my favorite shows.

Music- I'm a DJ so I love all music, really much more of a fan of older music. Only because many of those songs remind me of my late father. So Motown, classic rock and the beatles have a very special place in my heart. Love Michael Jackson. David Guetta and Avicci are some of my current Faves. Really I love all music, just not a huge Abba fan to be honest.

Food- I'm definitely a big foodie. Love trying new foods and discovering new cultures. I tend to like spicier foods because well, I'm Thai.
Six things I could never do without
1. My family
2. friends
3. My dog, Brutus
4. Good food
5. Coffee
6. Clever quips during awkward situations
I spend a lot of time thinking about
- whether I want to bring my dog with me when I'm running errands.
- why the kardashians are so important when there are hungry people, women with no rights, gays being persecuted, and just crazy people shooting people for no reason.
- I feel like a people's definition of "geek" "dork" and "nerd" are totally different from mine. But then again, everyone has something different that makes them a geek.
- How cheat day is like having Christmas once a week.
- How so many of these girls on here are out of my league, and remind me that personally sometimes...
- How my work consistently inspires optimism with every happy couple I meet.
- why some people put inspirational quotes with their selfies.
- why do I have that newsies song in my head?
- "I'm just going to watch half of this episode of law an order" - 30 mins later- "well looks like I'm going to be late for work..."
- the more ice cream I eat is just more calcium for my body right?
- why am I going on a tangent of random thoughts on my okcupid account.
- if you read this much about me, then you must be really cool, cause even I am over this gag. Sorry for making you read this nonsense, I actually never think anyone reads these. Watch this, "FART". Yep I said the word fart. You either laughed or started looking for someone less sarcastic.
- why do girls always take pictures with hands on their hips.
- bet this would taste better with bacon...
- why can't life's problems be solved in an elaborate musical number.
- "with great power comes great responsibility..."
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm usually winding down before a big weekend of events. So either I'll go to a local coffee shop in town with Brutus and catch up on work, or I'll try going to dinner with friends. Sometimes I just want to make a nice meal for myself too. I mean you have to treat your self. Especially cause the rest of the week I've been eating healthier. With that said, the gym is where I spend a lot of my friday nights.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm very Pro Marriage equality, I work in the wedding industry and fully support the movement. So I have to date someone who is not only caring but also tolerant. Many of my clients are people of all sexuality, religion, and race. They are also my friends, so to be honest, I'd prefer a woman who is a bit worldly and comfortable with the people in my life. I should be clear I'm not on the Trump band wagon, so I really don't think I could date someone who supports him.
You should message me if
- If you ever had a yellow umbrella
- If you still like cereal and cartoons in the morning (do they still have cartoons in the morning?)
- If you like classic movies and have a guilty pleasure for musicals
- Are young at heart with an old soul
- If you want to show me how dorky you are.
- Must love dogs. I'll be honest, Brutus and I are a package deal.
- If you know what "Please remain seated" sounds like in spanish
- If you ever want me to bring home cakes and flowers from my weddings.
- If you've sang cheap trick's, I want you to want me, in the shower today.
- If you hate cell phones on dates *i really hate cellphones at the dinner table. I see couples on dates and all they do is sit and go on Facebook or text. If I was having dinner with a beautiful girl, my phone would be the last thing I'd want to touch.*
- If you like that I can make you smile
- If you know what movie this song I'm singing is from
The two of us
