My self-summary
There's this really cool dude, ok? He's standing around being all chill, like cool dudes are known to do sometimes. He has a variety of INTERESTS. He has a passion for WRITING AND PERFORMING MUSIC. He listens to a lot of music, most of it MUSIC PERFORMED BY INDEPENDENT ARTISTS and also enjoys ATTENDING CONCERT PERFORMANCES by those artists. He also likes to program computers and is PRETTY DARN GOOD AT IT. His favorite sport is baseball, and enjoys CHEERING ON LOCAL BASEBALL TEAM THE CHICAGO CUBS. During the summer months, he also likes to play in a BEER SOFTBALL LEAGUE.

What I’m doing with my life
Programming computers and working on becoming an indie rock star. Any lulls are taken up by any of the interests below or wasting time on the internet. Recently I just got a brand new job working in Chicago! I wish I could list my location as Valparaiso and Chicago seeing as I'm up there so often.
I’m really good at
A lot.

* Playing/writing music - my current band is called Silhavey (
* Working with computers - I am the guy everyone always begs to fix their computer (you have no idea how much porn I accidentally find on people's computers). I am a professional programmer!
* Math - published author in the field of computer science (Erdos #4).
* Not being a huge nerd all the time - OK, I am obviously a huge nerd, but there's a lot more to life than that.
* Cooking - I can make a braised short rib that would make Morrissey renounce veganism.
* Debate - I love arguing politics and public policy, but I'm not stupid enough to bore people that don't give a shit or bring up politics when inappropriate
* Japanese - I spent two years working in Japan (in IT) and gained a conversational level of proficiency.
The first things people usually notice about me
hell of greek
