My self-summary
Hi. I moved to Montreal just over a year ago. I'm from Scotland but have also lived in a few other countries before coming to Canada, as well as doing a bit of travelling in between. Before I moved to Montreal everyone told me that this city is world renowned for its diverse and vibrant culture, but the truth is I'm only here for the Poutine. ;-)

I enjoy the usual stuff that most people do; concerts, pubs, comedy, visiting new places, having adventures, etc.. I love a good debate, even if I lose and end up coming around to the other persons point of view.
What I’m doing with my life
Since moving to Montreal I've been spending time learning French. I'm still at a basic level but taking classes every week in an effort to improve. I also spent a lot of time this summer exploring Quebec on my motorbike and discovered some really beautiful little towns. There's still a lot of this city and Canadian/Québécois culture I've yet to discover, so I'd love to hear your suggestions for things to see and do.

Some things I want to do in the future are; ride my motorbike from Canada to Argentina, go diving with whales in Antarctica, learn to sail, but for now I'm content getting to know Canada and exploring Montreal.
I’m really good at
Taking things apart, Karaoke, Buying things I have no need of
The first things people usually notice about me
Sideburns. Not sure why but they don't seem to be that common over here.
The six things I could never do without
My freedom
My cat
My passport
My friends
My memories
My Stylophone
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Imaginary arguments I'd have with people I'm never going to meet.
You should message me if
You think we'd find each other interesting.
