I like to do outdoor activities all seasons... gardening, walking (I fast walk when alone), biking, golf, day trips, boating, going to fairs, auctions, garage sales and probably things you like to do. I am Ivy-university educated. I have a very easy-going & accomodating personality, not focused just on me, attentive to you, and can be spontaneous and playful.
I am a logical thinker, a problem-solver, a speculator, a prognosticator, a dreamer/visonary, a true Gemini !
I like to do things with others & especially a special someone, but also value some alone time.
I have had the privilege as a voluntary citizen activist for historic preservation, to have worked with both sides of the aisle to pass bills in Congress to expand one of our sacred National Parks. That included giving testimony before both houses of the Congress - a unique insight into the mechanics of our congressional processes....now, how many people do you know that have done that before? In some cases, I have passed more legislation as a citizen, than some of the lazy bums in our state legislature, who have never passed anything. Shame on them! LoL 😄😄
I also have a serious side with determination to solve difficult problems that everyday life throws at us all.
I'm really good at fixing things too, and home improvements (although I still suck at finishing sheetrock joints! UGH!)
A couple faves: "The Horse Whisperer" & LUV the soundtrack;
"Let It Ride" A great comedy! "The Chronicles of Riddick", Carl Sagan's "Contact" (though I have come to the conclusion that we are alone in the universe) Music: Coldplay, John Williams, James Taylor, Hall & Oates, the late, but missed John Denver, some Madonna, some Lady Gaga...Matchbox Twenty (fav is "she's so mean"...Definitely all things SEAL... the list goes on.. you can see music is not a single genre for me. ;-). Recently saw 'Renaissance' and Bruce Hornsby in concert.

I enjoy programs that deal with big questions, like the true origins of humans, why did nations form the way they did, etc.. it's fun to ponder and interesting when science or anthropology develops credible evidence.
I really luv the show "Quirky" on the Sundance Channel. Also, big fan of 'Shark Tank', 'Wheeler Dealers' ( British car flipping show), 'Million Dollar Listings', and similar reality shows where I can get an insight.....I rarely watch anything on the standard networks that are scripted or acted.
Isn't it "ok" to be just 'average' in this century?
I rarely watch network programs on ABC/NBC/CBS/FOX
I am VERY open to a long distance relationship, as I am now retired, distance within reason (1-2 hrs drive time), and as I am a caregiver for an elderly parent, some flexibility in planning weekends is appreciated. In future, I am potentially willing to move if the right one comes along... haha...21st century.. guys have to be willing to move for their women too! 😍
