My self-summary
Creativity is important.
Being passionate about your interests is appealing.
Humor is mandatory :)

I've been paying my dues, waiting and treading water for too long now.
Cooking for one is such a drag right? Isn't everything is better when it's done with others?
I'm tired of excuses, I'm ready for some living.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a small potatos DIY tycoon.
I'm waiting for a "green light" on a new home building project. I'm excited about ultra efficient net-positive small houses.
I'm work on indie films when one comes around and music production when something grabs me.
I have a small business that installs nerdy stuff for rich people.
I manage my properties.
I've somehow avoided a w2 form for over a decade.
I’m really good at
Bass Guitar, Music Production, Board Games, Fixing Mopeds, Urban Renewal, Brainstorming Shenanigans, creative problem solving, making hummus, giving massages,
Working creatively with whatever materials I have.
The first things people usually notice about me
Oh first impressions... I don't like first impressions.
I think it's the third and fourth impressions that should stick.

I just had a little chat with with one of my female besties tonight. We talked about online dating as she had done it before hitching up with current, now long term boyfriend.
She commented about how "90% of profiles are misleading or straight up lies.

There is no bullshit in this profile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Hands down, Kurt Vonnegut.
Too many movies to list.
TV: I haven't seen most of the good new shows.
Music: This week I'm digging Big Thief, Brad Mehldau, old Liz Phair, Islands, Paul Simon, the Meters, Cuddle Magic.
Six things I could never do without
I can do without, but I prefer not to.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How silly humans are.

What "More Experienced" means as an OKCupid profile tag.
On a typical Friday night I am
Wishing I still lived in Portland Maine.
Maybe Brooklyn, or LA

Update: It's warm, I like Maine again.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
-I prefer blends over single orgins (that one's for the coffee nerds)
-I don't understand why everybody thinks that Neil Young is so great. Seriously, try listening to Hey Hey, My My a few times in a row.
-Mayonnaise and most white-ish spreadables wig me out. Disguise it as an aioli or another fancy colorful delight and it might be alright, but keep those goopy chip dips away please.
-OK, OK, OK, we can listen to Neil Young if you really want to.
The two of us
