My self-summary
Canadian born; raised in Barbados and Toronto. ISFJ and Leo for those who care about that stuff.

Always trying to keep that small island mindset in this big city hustle i.e. "stay nice and relaxed and you can usually ride out all the bullshit". I think I manage to pull it off most days, unless it's snowing...

Currently on the journey, exploring new connections, while living my life, meeting new people, looking for new experiences, and staying one step ahead of death yo.
What I’m doing with my life
Spending my day to day as a Network Operations and Computer Technician / IT Consultant. Keeps me busy more often than not, but I enjoy it.

Other times I'm trying to stay in shape practising Muay Thai and doing 'exercise stuff', scouring the "internet", playing the "video games", watching the "tv shows", reading the "books", hanging in and out with the "friends", finding the "cool places" / "events" in the city and other things that pass the time with a smile.
I’m really good at
Fixing stuff through tenacity (read: stubbornness) and ingenuity (read: stubbornness), giving good advice that I can't seem to follow myself, and problem solving.
The first things people usually notice about me
Physically? My height and my dreads being the most obvious, and also, I've been told, my smile.

Other than that folks have said that I'm friendly, straightforward and have a habit for dry wit and sarcasm, which I'm pretty sure is code for being obnoxious.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm feeling that this is less a question and more a test of self control.

Books: A Song of Ice and Fire (series), American Gods, Good Omens, The Passage, Things Fall Apart, Horns, Small Gods; Graphic Novels like The Walking Dead, Saga, Locke and Key (this one's really good), 100 Bullets, Y: The Last Man.

Movies: Se7en, Ronin, In The Heat of The Night, Aliens, John Carpenter's The Thing, The Magnificent Seven, Pulp Fiction, Memento, A History of Violence, Dark City, Snow Piercer, A Most Violent Year, Starry Eyes, It follows, Mad Max: Fury Road, Sicario.

Shows: Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Person of Interest, Luther, Rick and Morty, Community (most of it at least), Broad City, Hannibal (;_;), Fringe, True Detective (season 1 >:O), Utopia (;_; x 2), Man Seeking Woman, Mr. Robot.

Music: Rap, Hip-hop, R&B, Grime, Drum&Bass and Indie-Electronica mostly, but I'll listen to anything with a good beat. Trying to go to more live shows these days; any recommendations? :-)

Food: Japanese, Mediterranean, and Italian are some favourites. I'll try anything once though, with few exceptions.
The six things I could never do without
"could never do without" is pretty melodramatic, but...
The internet(s), good music, good books, good exercise, good food and, good friends.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Problems that need solving, what I can learn to be a better me, what I can unlearn to be a better me, why people do what they do, why I do what I do, work stuff, personal stuff, sociopolitical stuff, imaginary stuff, the ice cream illuminati, fun stuff, sexy stuff. ;-)
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends for a coffee, meal, a show, or a pint when I can, while never being above a quieter Friday night; it's usually hangin', chillin', and the appropriate amount of illin'.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm not a fan of ice cream; Just don't care for it. Seriously, the world's supply could run out tomorrow and it wouldn't bother me. I may or may not be working on a plan to make that happen...
You should message me if
If you're looking for conversation! Over a beer, a coffee, or a whatever.
I'm always down to meet new people, especially in person, so message me if you're on the same wavelength, and maybe even if you're not.
