My self-summary
Like everybody else this is the part I don't care for, but here we go. I'll get through the usual and get to the juicy later. Hello, my name is James. I am 39, 6'4" tall and weigh 240 lbs. , give or take a holiday. My eyes are green, but I have been told sometimes they change color a little. My hair is brown and very short. I have 4 tattoos and 1 piercing. Ok, then still here. I have been described as a having" Chandler's" humor. I don't know if that's good or bad. if your not attracted, no problem, I understand looks matter and I agree you have to be attracted to someone. I do not play games or have a lot of drama. Everyone has some amount of drama in life. I am a true redneck and proud of it. But not in that wife better, tobacco spitting, hey look I'm on cops way. I like humor, especially dry humor, and having fun, love sarcasm, cars and trucks (I have a 1962 Ford Falcon and a 1934 Pontiac 3-window coupe, car shows and swap meets, and being outside. I also like bowling, darts, pool, basketball, comedy clubs and movies, and watching the history and discovery channels. I will always stop and thank a veteran for keeping me free. I am a Kentucky Wildcats fan, (I'm originally from Kentucky), a Cubs, Cowboys, and Bears fan. I love my Westview Warriors and I also like Constantine Football. My all-time favorite joke. .. A baby seal walks into a club. Yep, that's it, it's cruel, but it makes me laugh. And Family Guy makes me wet myself. Probably too much info huh? Oh yeah back to what I was typing. I believe a relationship should have honesty, communication, faithfulness, and laughter. I am romantic and don't mind pulling out a chair or opening a door, although I am a little out of practice. I like holding hands when I am with that special someone. I think it is great when you see a couple who have been married for many years that still hold hands. As far as age, it's just a number to me. I am looking for someone I can be best friends with and have that grow into love. I am looking preferably for someone to have a long term relationship with. I have my religious beliefs, but do not attend church. I only smoke cigars on special occasions (mainly on the golf course), and really would like a non-smoker, but we can work around that. You have to like a little romance. I like conversations, walks, nature, and cuddling up with someone special. Yeah you've read it right so far oh and no I'm not gay, not that there's anything wrong with that. If you have any questions just ask. I will answer anything. I have no problems with kids, I have a 7 year old little boy that knows how to steal hearts. I would prefer to meet someone first and get to know them before they meet him. I hope you feel that way too. I think that is all for now. If I am not the one you're looking for after reading this, I hope you find that special someone, and thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. If this should grab your attention and you want to know more just message me and I will answer your questions. Oh yeah, one more thing, I have emailed a couple people and got websites that want memberships or something. I am looking to meet someone and become friends and maybe more. I am not going to chase someone through different sites to never meet them or talk to them again. Those are some of the games I don't play. I am open to different things. I wont deal with games, bs, lying, and cheating. I'm easy to get along with. So if this is the game you want to play please don't bother and just skip over me. If it's not and you honestly want to start talking and communicating then that's great.
What I’m doing with my life
Working and making sure my son's needs are met. I have had a rough time the past couple years. I've lost several family members and friends. I'm moving forward, sometimes it's hard. I will say though that I'm further in my life now that I thought I ever would be and it feels great. And, to add to this. I am now pretty happy with my life. I evaluate life every day and discover or rediscover things about myself. Life is good.
I’m really good at
Learning something new every day. Knowing random useless knowledge. Figuring things out. Being honest, if that applies here. Sometimes too much I guess. But I had this advice passed along to me. It's easier to remember the truth than it is to remember the lies.
The first things people usually notice about me
Humor and the fact I love to have a good time. And lately people seem to say that I'm laid back, calm, and patient. I guess I get that from my son.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books-Dr. Suess or car related
Music-anything except most blue-grass and religious
Six things I could never do without
Ok, someone pointed out that it does ask for things. So by using the people, places, and things rule, here is my revision.
The ability to learn
The human senses
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Random things and wondering how the world around me has came to be. Also, sometimes while you're driving think about the fact you and everyone around you are controlling such a massive thing and everything is flowing along. It's bazaar. There, that's one of those random things. I also find myself pondering how mankind has changed in the last 20 years and how business has changed.
On a typical Friday night I am
Ordering a pizza, watch tv, and surf eBay. Or going out for dinner and a couple drinks with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That my first impression isn't always the greatest. I have an awkward shyness sometimes. It's like the geeky guys in the movies asking out the beautiful girl.
You should message me if
You have made it this far. You are either wanting to know more or actually just read the whole thing to be polite :) . The absolute worst thing is that we don't click. It happens. But is that truly that bad. Who knows a great friendship might spring up or we have learned something new in life. Also, if you're looking to date an asshole, that's not me. I'm not a fixer-upper. I'm the door opening, pulling out a chair, hand holding, nice guy that gets friend zoned.
The two of us
