So here are some things about me:
I am silly and weird. I think shame is useless. So some of the first conversations I have with people I become attracted to have been atypical. I don't conventionally flirt, I don't think. Its more like, I go up to someone and ask something like, "do you like string?" and the conversation pretty much ends there. Awkwardness is the sweet-spot of life my friend. Own it!
I Love affection, smiles, and hugs.
I've been going to Burning Man for 17 years. My focus out there is more on the art, not really on the party.
I lived in London for 3 years. It was an awesome life experience.
AND in light of the current political climate: I stand with Standing Rock, no really I went there and in a way left a piece of myself there. Clothing is 2nd in pollution and climate change only to the fossil fuel industry so please stop buying fast fashion/cheap clothing. Also, empathy is the only way we can all exist on this planet together. In conclusion, I try to love this planet and it's people best I can.
My life goal is to become a professor who spends the summer working on art projects and research in other parts of the world. You know kinda Indiana Jones like.
Teaching/helping with understanding
Laughing at intelligent, lame, and silly jokes... "dad jokes"
Music: The list is too long but really it's whatever fits my mood. Lately, it's been Tribe Called Red and Supaman.
I like movies of all kinds. Six String Samurai, Star Wars and Star Trek (new and old). Suggest a movie!
I might like it.
I appreciate animated movies: How to Train Your Dragon...... Dreamworks and Pixar make good movies.
I like yummy food. I also cook. I have gone wheat free but I am working on making kick ass wheat free pancakes, pizza and anything else I might miss. I cook some vegan dishes. I have a distaste for meat.
Franchises: Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. The movie was great but incomplete. The BBC radio series was awesome.
The Muppets. The show is a classic, The new movie was... well it had chickens singing C-lo, I don't think I need to say more. The Muppets are the singers of the greatest love song of all time.
Laughing and Smiling
What me and my friends call our "15 minutes". It stands for the time you take to talk and connect with a person who "gets" you.
Fruit and veggies!
Not necessarily in that order.
Also what I am going to say in class discussions to crack open the minds of my students. Favorite thing to say in class "What does that mean?!?" I am so proud when my students use it.
