I am always learning new things.I seem to analyze and reason everything. So I'm always reading and trying to find out new things either in the Internet or in books whatever sources I can find. Truth in the information you find is another story...
I enjoy sharing ideas or insights with others and likewise. I have seem in retrospect to have lived in pursuit of the solution to the problem of lofe and to avoid whenever possible being the problem.
I strive for, but do not always achieve, harmony in my life and surroundings. So I'm a work in progress. I'm quick thinking and observant. There is so much to learn
I love a good debate, difference of opinion is not a bad thing. I saw an interview with Steve Jobs about great ideas come out of a Rock tumbler or sorts that bounces ideas theories and criticisms of of each other until they shiny and beautiful.
I don't often like being taken care of, I'd rather take care of others.
My primary goal in life is to improve myself and my surroundings for the benefit of others as well as myself.
Im Working on handling disappointment better .. I am often very critical of my self and if can spill over onto others. I don't mean it!! My friends come to know where to draw the line.
I have an analytical mind, always trying to figure things out, make things better. So if my friends have a problem they know I'm always willing to help them solve it.
I slow in making friends. I won't make the first step until I feel more comfortable with someone, but when I do I usually have a friend for life.
I am a fairly healthy person. I stay physically fit and enjoy exercise; swimming, sailing, fishing, and hiking, biking. Outdoor activities. I Like playing in the sun not just laying in it...
Love the color blue green and orange.
Ted talks of all kinds especially medical and technology.
Amazing world we live in, Imagine what we are going to experience in technological advances alone in the next twenty years! Nano technology is incredible. Like listening to NPR in the morning.
Currently reading authors such as Christopher Hitchens Richard Dawkins Sam Harris, Neil Degrasse Tyson. Yes I'm an Atheist, Or as Dawkins would say a 6 leaning towards a seven on a scale of 1 to 7, Seven being an absolute atheist. While I cannot prove that there is not a God, neither can anyone prove that there is. Leave faith out of it let's work on treating each other better In this life that we have. I'm not against anybody and their religious beliefs but Im not interested in having someone try to convert me. No point find another topic. Everyone has a right to their opinion and beliefs, but when it influences or impacts the way other people have a right to choose to live their life, that's where I draw the line.
friends and family
i Devices I cant imagine life without them now!
Life's Experience,new and ever-changing.
I grew up in a very religious family as usual, being open about my sexuality was difficult. As I've gotten older And thereby more experienced, the less I believe the religious dogma taught to me as a child. I have found for myself a belief in evolution and the fact that we are creatures on this earth, a product of this Earth and the universe in which it exists. Creationism should never be taught in school that's a religious belief keep them to yourself. Science offers an extremely compelling case, the Darwinian theory. Natural selection and survival of the species is what drives the evolution of man and all other creatures on earth. Christopher Hitchens , Richard Dawkins have opened my eyes to the idea that we have been fooled and have actually wasted time and precious energy in proliferating religious dogma. I don't down play spirituality, we are one human kind as one part of a world ecology.
Sorry off the soapbox. It was a rough Election
