My self-summary
Hi there!
I'm new to New York City and I'm excited to discover my new hometown! I took a bit of a circuitous route to get here - I was originally born in Texas, grew up and went to college in the Midwest, moved to the Pacific Northwest for work before heading to Washington DC for graduate school. Now that I've got free time again, I'd love to find a companion who wants to experience everything New York has to offer. I'm especially interested in checking out some live music (my friends told me I was particularly fond of "Seattle music" when I lived there - basically anything that is independent, alternative, rock, or folk), seeing a play, or going to a comedy show. Although my vacation balance limits my options, I'm always interested in exploring, both domestically and internationally. I love learning about the world, and nothing makes me happier than discovering something that helps me understand a different point of view or clarifies something that was mystifying before.
My friends would say that I'm smart, kind, and hard-working with a bit of a cynical sense of humor. In return, I'm looking for a woman who is smart, interesting, and independent. Finding someone who is college educated and well-read is very important to me. Besides that, I’ve always been a sucker for a cute smile

You are a smart, interesting, and independent woman. Preferably you're something of a bookworm and interested in the world around you. Besides that, I've always been a sucker for a cute smile.
