My self-summary
It's been quite the journey to getting where I am today. Born in Indiana, grew up in Phoenix and lived there until 2006. Then, I took one of the greatest journeys of my life to Hanover, NH for two years (definitely hit me up if you can relate). This is truly one of my favorite places in the world! Then, I spent a year in the ATL before moving to NYC 3+ years ago. I have now found my longer term home. I love this city and the work I do which challenges me on a daily basis.

I truly love my life, and am now looking for someone awesome to share it with. Here is what I think are the important things to know:

- Very close with my family and friends
- love to laugh and make people do the same
- a bit sarcastic and sometimes an acquired taste
- honest and loyal to a fault
- successful, driven, and can sell with the best of them
- comfortable in just about any setting
- love to travel (15 countries in the past 3 years and so many more to go)
- recently adopted a love of running (i blame it on central park)
- adventurous and will most likely try anything at least once (went skiing for the first time last year and loved it - also learned how to surf and kiteboard as well)
- huge sports fan (Colts, Cubs, Irish, and Sun Devils - hopefully a national championship coming!!) and love to play as well
- Can have an informed discussion on just about anything

Anything else, just ask.
What I’m doing with my life
One of those (apparently) evil Wall Street guys.
I’m really good at
acknowledging my weakness and making improvements.

I'm really bad at
filling out these profiles. I will get better!
The first things people usually notice about me
I tend to be a pretty boisterous individual, who doesn't know the meaning of shy. So, probably just overall presence, then the eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books - Anything by Ben Mezrich, Brad Thor, Michael Connelly, David Baldacci, and Lee Child. Also loved Atlas Shrugged, Catcher in the Rye, and Of Mice and Men. Don't make fun of me too much for this, but I am in love with the "Wheel of Time" series. It is truly some of the best fiction writing I have ever read.

Movies - Good Will Hunting, Usual Suspects, any good action movie, Animal House, Dazed and Confused, Point Break, Top Gun, Goonies, Midnight Madness (bonus points if you know this one), Swingers (although I can't watch the answering machine scene, it's just too painful), 8 seconds, and so many more that I am forgetting.

Shows - Broadway - Rock of Ages, Book of Mormon (like them a little racy) TV - NCIS, House, Bones, Biggest Loser, Criminal Minds, and The Good Wife.

Music - Grew up on Country and Classic Rock, but listen to just about everything, except techno and house.

Food - This list could go on forever, so I will list things I don't like - olives, beets, salmon, mustard, and tea (yes, I know it's not a food, but couldn't think of anything else).
Six things I could never do without
running shoes
diet coke
flip flops
trips to Hanover, NH
I spend a lot of time thinking about
European and Asian stocks, how to meet a good woman, and how to get the most out of life
On a typical Friday night I am
Out to dinner/happy hour with friends, or on a plane to my next awesome destination.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am closeted online shopping addict
You should message me if
- you are a fun person and live life to the fullest
- you are hard to offend and up for an intellectual challenge
- you share my love for Hanover
- you are a secret Wheel of Time fan as well
