My self-summary
I am an American (from Chicago) living in China. I love to travel and see new cultures.

What I’m doing with my life
I currently teach English in China. Back in Chicago I worked as a journalist and also worked in a music store and with Chinese immigrants before that. I would love to someday be a newspaper writer for a publication in Asia.
I’m really good at

I like old classic movies, Film Noir, Cop Movies, documentaries, Billy Wilder comedies. Clint Eastwood westerns, Alfred Hitchcock Thrillers, Ingmar Bergman Dramas, Blaxploitation, Shaw Brothers Fung Fu and anything from the 1970's...

I love Mexican food, Arabic food, and Thai food.

As for music, I listen to everything from Jazz to Punk Rock. My tastes have changed a lot since moving to Asia. I am currently enjoying groups like: Sanullim (산울림) Shin Jung-hyeon (신중현) and Kim Jung Mi from Korea. Teddy Robin & The Playboys, Esther Chan, Zoundcrackers and Betty Chang from Hong Kong. I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where on the Globe to Travel to next. (If you live along the Silk Road, I would love to hear from you!)
On a typical Friday night I am
Walking around the City taking pictures. Skateboarding. Playing Ping-Pong. Exercising like Ronaldo....
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
“The secret of eternal youth is to lie about your age,”
You should message me if
We have something in common. You actually want to meet in person, not just add another "friend" to your wechat page or practice "English" together. I Don't need anymore pen-pals sorry........
