Exercise feels great and keeps me healthy, so I run three times a week.
The depths of space and time capture my imagination like nothing else; I’m fascinated by astronomy and cosmology and I’m always curious about history as well as where we might go in the future.
I prefer doing things in person to participating from a distance, whether this means going to a hockey game instead of watching on TV, being at a concert instead of listening to music at home, or playing a game with my friends in the same room instead of online.
Ultimately, the most important thing for me is to have friends that I can share and discuss all of these experiences with.
I really like to visit new places. Since I no longer travel with my parents to business conferences all over the country like I did when I was a kid, I don’t get to travel quite as much as I used to. I’ve seen quite a bit of the U.S. and I’ve been to Canada and Costa Rica, but I’d really like to visit Europe and Asia and experience in person all the amazing historical sites I’ve only been able to read about before.
Reading, walking, and possibly even chewing gum at the same time.
Stringing words together to make a sentence that's both cogent and coherent.
Screaming loudly at the TV when I'm watching sports.
I'd dearly love to add snapping my fingers to this list, but that is one skill in which my reach exceeds my grasp.
Manchester Orchestra is the best band making music today. If Brand New would finally release a new album, maybe it could be a contest again. They put on the best live show I've ever seen, but I've had fun at Motion City Soundtrack, Gold Motel, I Can Make a Mess, and quite a few others as well. For something a little more local, my friends PHOX are pretty good too.
I love peppers. The rest of me sometimes disagrees. We're working our differences out.
You have a cool restaurant or new dish to try.
You'd like to play a game together.
You'd like to go see a show somewhere.
If you have anything interesting to talk about, I'm all ears.
