My self-summary
I have been in this city for over 5 years now. I love it too much to leave! I got a job in public policy and am here to stay for the time being.

I'm goofy, I make corny jokes, I love puns, I'm rarely embarrassed, I'll go out of my way for a lot, I'm open (like a book, but with poorly drawn pictures), and you instantly become on my A list if you laugh at my silly jokes.

I love traveling, I'm a huge music geek and a total nerd apart from that. Happy Hours are awesome, and going out on weekend nights is pretty fantabulous too. I love casually seeing the city on the weekends (especially after a great nights sleep) - Museums, events, movies, restaurants - just too much to do and too few hours in the day.

You'll always find me trying new things, its great, and its led me to some pretty cool places. Food wise, i'll try anything once, and love most (read: all) cuisines.
What I’m doing with my life
- Helping make the US and EU fall deeper in love with a brand spankin new FTA
- Working in public policy, and pretending I influence Congress
- Getting my Masters so I can stop pretending the above and make more influential waves
- Writing short stories, deleting them, and re-writing them again
- That time I learned Call Me Maybe on the piano (ok, so re-learning to play the piano)
- Social sports, namely kickball as many seasons a year as possible. Well, more like prancing around the field until the game is over so I can go to the bar and kick ass at flip cup. (hint: I stink at flip cup)
- Catching up on all the TV, movies, and video games I missed over the last few years. Did you know that there is a Mean Girls 2? Did you know that I just watched it? Did you know that it is terrible...
The first things people usually notice about me
I can find humor in many things, and try not to let anything keep me down or push me aside. And what is laughter if not a great way to help you get through life?

- Le internet and all its socially goodness
- Grapes and wine (Together forever and never to part, together forever we two)
- My sense of adventure and wishful thinking
- My cellular bananular phone
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time thinking about the present and future. I stay very grounded, and don't let things get ahead of me. Following a very rough year, I am now a firm believer in living a life with no regrets and become closer with the family I have left, and the one thing I continuously strive for in myself and my friends is happiness, as there really is just nothing better.
On a typical Friday night I am
Friday night - happy hour, dinner, going out in the city. Ending with jumbo slice? You betcha!

That, or catching up on sleep, passing out with Netflix still blasting out of my TV. Some Fridays you deserve a little R&R, and a replaying of your favorite video game...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
At what age is it unacceptable for a grown man to be obsessed with all things Disney? Because I'm pretty sure I've missed the cut-off.
You should message me if
You love geeky things, enjoy talking about virtually everything, and just love shooting-the-shit about any topic

You enjoy politics/the political scene here in DC - but you also don't let it become the only thin about you.

You love adventures, and love traveling (bonus points if you've had to add extra pages to your passport - wherever you go just take me with you!)

You have a special place in your heart for happy hours
