My self-summary
Might as well be random: I read. Play basketball. Go to the gym. Watch sports. Invest. Care about my career. Try new restaurants/bars. Try to learn everything about everything.

I think I'm a pretty smart guy. I'm all about being around funny people and making people laugh. Usually I just wind up offending everyone. But I mean well. My sarcasm is hard to interpret at times, for me especially.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm an actuary (math/finance) working in investments, and am quite career oriented. Otherwise I'm an NYC native, and look for whatever this place has to offer. Mostly food obvi.

More importantly, I'm trying to regain my former basketball skills and become a decent swimmer. Also football season is nearing, so all is right with the world.
I’m really good at
figuring people out, planning things, my job, making honest comments/jokes indistinguishable. I can be philosophical at times. .. .....
The first things people usually notice about me
Sense of humor. Good skin. Apparently my gaze can be intense.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
All books by Philip Roth and Haruki Murakami. Updike's Rabbit series. We Are Not Ourselves.

Louie, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld, Mad Men, Friday Night Lights (TV show), Damages

sushi, shellfish, dessert of all kinds

The Strokes, Rolling Stones, Hold Steady, pretty open to most music
Six things I could never do without
Larry David
Funny people
I spend a lot of time thinking about
why people think they know what they're doing.
On a typical Friday night I am
at the gym then out to a late dinner. Or drinking in a classy manner.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I still don't know how to ride a bike - don't laugh.
You should message me if
you're funny, chatty, smart, and confident. Or if you want to know more about me.
