My self-summary
I find that the people on the edge of the room tend to be the most interesting. I like bookstores and banter. I dig athletic/sporty women who are outgoing and confident and appreciate the finer things in life. Please have verve, independence, and an interest in the world. Intellectual curiosity is very sexy.
What I’m doing with my life
I recently discovered the joys of vintage port and I miss my record player. I'm coming to terms with the fact that I actually like my Kindle.
I’m really good at
Procrastinating and avoiding filling out Ok Cupid profiles, navigation, carrying heavy objects long distances, Trivial Pursuit, making Manhattans, making conversation with anyone about anything.
The first things people usually notice about me
My blue eyes and my sense of humor.

Six things I could never do without
The New York Times
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Eye contact. Travel. Politics. Manners. At this moment I'm spending a lot of time thinking about what I think about. This seems, in some way, indulgent.
On a typical Friday night I am
Searching yelp and the Google machine for new and fun restaurants, particularly ones that are ranked. I like rankings and lists. Maybe playing (and hopefully not losing) credit card roulette for a bar tab.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I was 10 or 11 I modeled for an illustrator who used the drawings for the protagonist in the book "Hurray for Ali Baba Bernstein." That's me on the cover. It's on Amazon. For reals.
