I have been described by friends as funny, witty, caring, loving, loyal, dependable, very open and a hopeless romantic.
I love camping, fishing, hiking, biking and pretty much any outdoor activity. I really enjoy sunset walks (on the beach is preferable but, not mandatory) or just taking in nature in all its beauty and splendor. I do enjoy board games, cards etc... with friends and family when possible. I enjoy singing karaoke as well but not in smoky places. I have not done much baking or cooking in awhile but do find it therapeutic and a source of creativity. My family and friends all say that I am very good at both.
I have never been a smoker & rarely drink . Not opposed to an occasional social drink though. I'm most often the designated driver.
I don't know much about sports but, I am definitely open to learn more about them. I do try to attend a few baseball games each year.
I have a son but, he is a grown man in his late 20's living & working in Maryland. He is very responsible and I am extremely proud of him and his accomplishments.
I think children are a true blessing and I never tire of the amazing things they do and say. I would have no issues with dating a woman that has children.
I am a lover of animals as well but, I currently do not have any pets of my own. I have had dogs, and cats and once a Shetland Pony when I was younger. My one cat, Miss Kitty, lived to be 25 years old. She was awesome and extremely personable. I always tell people love kept her alive that long.
Facial hair is optional for me...I would have no problem shaving it off or growing it back if that special lady prefers one to the other.
I may change my look for the right woman but, I will not change the man I am. I feel I am a decent man with a good heart and I know how to show a woman respect and love. I believe a man has to put God first in his life but that he should treat the woman he loves with the utmost kindness, love and respect. She may not be the only woman in the world but, I believe she should be made to feel that way.
Hopefully you will give me the chance to show you how a woman should be treated and all I would ask in return is faithfulness, honesty and respect. Is that too much for a man to ask for in a loving relationship?
