My self-summary
Just a guy with two thumbs, a corny sense of humor, and an uncanny ability to find adventure. Optimistic, well read, punny, sincere, ever-curious, and an unabashed nerd/geek/dork/what have you. I've usually got a random story, fact, or observation to hand.

I value compassion, creativity, and confidence in myself and those with whom I spend my time. Also, I dig the oxford comma.
What I’m doing with my life
Living the dream...I work as an internist, so medically I do everything but surgery and babies.

I also travel a lot for both work and pleasure, go on medical missions, listen to far too many audio drama and random podcasts and dabble just a bit in other random pursuits.
I’m really good at
planning vacations-30+ countries and travel agent to my friends. I am a great road trip companion, and every bar i go to will quickly become a karaoke bar

cooking-making meals is genuinely how i relax. It's weird, i know but dont look a gift horse in his delicious mouth.

puns, trivia, crosswords, reading, board games...this is where the whole geeky thing really gets to shine. I am a renaissance man of the written word and i want you to talk nerdy to me.
The first things people usually notice about me
My love of puns, my dashing good looks, my incredible sense of humility? With so many qualities, golly it's hard to be sure. Probably just I like talking to people
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
TV: Westworld, The Flash, Dr Who, GoT, really most sci fi

Books: oh geez. I read a lot. Mary Roach, James Rollins, Terry Pratchet, Haruki Murakami, Comics, whatever bookbub is providing me for free. Love scifi and thrillers.

Food: Greek, Spanish, Sushi. I'm only a picky eater in the sense that it's too hard to choose from all the amazing food options put before me.

Movies: Horror, whatever is in the zeitgeist. I am also a sucker for old classics like Abbot and Costello or Gene Kelley

Audio: Hamilton. also a ton of classic rock and radio dramas. npr and taylor swift in the same day. I know, blasphemy.
Six things I could never do without
earth
fire
wind
water
heart
your powers combined
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Duck tales...woo hoo!

Weird science and medical facts, the last book i read, television characters i am overly invested in, where my next travel destination should be, more politics than is good for my blood pressure, and of course, puns and comics.
On a typical Friday night I am
During winter: playing pub trivia, netflixing, walking around the city, trying new restaurants, yoga, tabletop gaming

During Summer: mostly the same, but with fewer layers on.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Through a hilarious series of circumstances involving a fighter jet, a dingo, and the u.s. postal service, I am not allowed back in Australia until 2021. Ask me about it over drinks.
You should message me if
You are high energy, somewhat geeky, love food, and actively enjoy or at least dont mind terrible jokes.

Readers, extroverts, and lovers of active travel, co-conspirators and fellow chefs, comic book nerds, cosplayers, lovers of horror and cheesy b film, please apply within and prepare to geek right the heck out.
