I consider friends and family to be important, and try to see them all whenever possible. I love NZ and love to explore the countryside with road trips.
I currently work as an underground utility surveyor, mostly working on the Ultrafast Broadband rollout. I previously worked as an International coordinator for a local University but left to take up a teaching job in Shanghai that sadly never eventuated. I've found a passion in international relations and Education. Sharing my passion with others and watching them be inspired is huge.
I've also spent a few years working in IT, and hospo/event management, so quite a mixed career but I love it. I also have a Uni education in Information Systems, and half of one in Geography before I took up a fellowship to study Chinese in Western China.
I have a passion for travel, especially China - 10 times, I think? I've been to other places in Asia, and the Pacific. Hoping to visit the US next.

Movies... fairly open just so long as it has got a good plot and isn't too cheesey. I like movies that make me laugh or make me think. I'm a bit of a Sci-fi fan.
Music I'm mainly a fain of rock, little bit of dub and other genres. Not a huge fan of dubstep. I used to work in hospo so got to see a lot of bands for free.
Food, glorious food! I love cooking, and baking, though I don't seem to do either often enough.
and something else...
