My self-summary
I'm your average nerdy guy I suppose. I work for a living writing software and making little lights blink on circuit boards. I have a degree in Electrical Engineering from UCD.
I like to go out and bike around the neighborhood after work to work out, and try to stay active.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a firmware developer (The kind of software that makes a microwave or your TV work) at a local Folsom company. I'm also helping a friend of mine get off the ground in the 3D printer business to keep my Electrical Engineering skills sharp.
I’m really good at
I'm a pretty good programmer, and electrical engineer. I love taking things apart and seeing how they work. Also, I like unit origami, and have folded more Post-Its into geometric shapes than I care to remember. :-p
The first things people usually notice about me
I tend to talk really fast when I get excited about something. My sense of sarcasm is also unparalleled. :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Typical nerd stuff...

Currently reading the "Red Mars" series of books. I just finished Red Mars; it was awesome!

Music: Mainly Indie/Alt rock, with a little electronic and shred metal thrown in. Occasionally, some baroque stuff like Bach or later Beethoven when I'm in the mood. is my main Pandora station for a taste of what I'm into.
Six things I could never do without
In no particular order:
Good friends
Good heath
Pushing my limits
My computer
My car
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The comparative merits of pizza to brownies, and new, nifty, electronic gadgets I could build to take over the world.
On a typical Friday night I am
When not out with friends, usually tinkering with some gadget I'm designing/dissecting while watching a sci-fi show or Starcraft 2 pro-games.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I sometimes sing along with songs (poorly) in the car when I get really into them.
You should message me if
You're looking for someone to have long conversations on the nature of the universe, or maybe just about something silly that happened to you yesterday.
