My self-summary
I have brown hair. I like to sing. Chicken fingers make me really happy. I light a candle every night. If I forget my headphones, my whole day is ruined. I'm most productive at night. I hate summer; I love winter. I went blonde for a hot second -- turns out brunettes have more fun. If there's an obscure ailment you can think of, chances are I've had it. March Madness was like a religion in my house growing up. Christmas is an unhealthy obsession of mine. I put the milk in before my cereal. I'm positive I was born in the wrong era. My favorite drink is a Vesper.
What I’m doing with my life
Asking myself that same question everyday.

I graduated undergrad from NYU with a Vocal Performance (music theatre) degree. I worked & performed in and around the city for a few years, then decided to go back to NYU for grad school (hello, student loans!) in Arts Administration. I now work in Development for the Paul Taylor Dance Company on the Lower East Side. Eventually, I'd like to get to a place where I can effectively advocate for the arts to remain in schools and to remain a meaningful part of cultural policy.

But, who knows where I shall end up?
I’m really good at
Ugh, I don't know...this is stressful. You decide.
The first things people usually notice about me
...that I have a dry, sarcastic sense of humor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Hang A Thousand Trees With Ribbons, In Cold Blood, To Kill A Mockingbird, Harry Potter 1-7, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo 1-3, Until I Find You, The Night Circus, etc.

Movies: It's A Wonderful Life, The Shawshank Redemption, The Patriot, A Few Good Men, Good Will Hunting, Apollo 13, White Christmas, When Harry Met Sally, The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, Philadelphia, Empire Records, etc.

Shows: Friends, Grey's Anatomy, The Newsroom, The Good Wife, can't think right now...

Music: Musicals (seriously, I'm sorry, but I love 'em), Johnny Cash, Simon & Garfunkel, Gavin Degraw, Pink, James Taylor, Jeffrey Foucault, Ray Charles, Jessie J, Michael Jackson, Bing Crosby, Tracy Chapman, Carole King, Jackson Browne, Sam Smith, and many more

Food: I I do have a soft spot in my heart for nasty, American junk food; I can't lie. I dip an abnormal amount of things in ranch dressing (just accept it). But, I LOVE going out to eat and trying new things, although I am just slowly boarding the seafood train.
The six things I could never do without
1. my family (blood and otherwise)
2. music/singing
3. my bed (it's abnormally comfortable)
4. a few, intermittent clouds
5. diet Pepsi
6. the Christmas season
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Am I the only one who finds this to be an extremely intrusive question? Let's explore this answer when we know more about each other, haha... In the meantime, they're MY thoughts. ;-)
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually with friends. The usual: movies, bars, dinners, etc. I am also not opposed to an unconventional night filled with, I don't know, bowling or something. I also like to be home. Netflix & chill is no joke.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My toes were webbed when I was born. Now they are not as webbed. But they are still webbed.
I consider the shower a legitimate concert hall.
I have never dated anyone within 3 years of my age.
You should message me if
I'm not going to tell you that you should message me if you don't want to. You know if you want to or not; I'll leave that up to you. You're welcome.
