My self-summary
I am an Artist...so I should be good at talking about myself but in reality fairly terrible about it. I am old school with many things. I prefer analog technology for many things. I shoot film photography and play/record with old instruments. I also take this classic approach to dating. I believe in a romantic courtship and not a quick fling.
What I’m doing with my life
Day job: getting paid to try all the new beers coming out.
Spending the rest of my time making art, movies, and music.
I’m really good at
Looking at and Making Things (I have a degree in Fine Arts)
Making people laugh
Saving just enough to buy a plane ticket to somewhere in the world I haven't been yet. Then repeating that process.
The first things people usually notice about me
I tend to observe situations before engaging so I comes off as shy and introverted but when I open up they notice my laid back and comical nature. That and the ridiculous hats/hoodies I enjoy wearing. I also change my facial hair frequently (sometimes something ridiculous or haven't been in style in a hundred years or so...just because it's fun).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I love the Beat writers and the gothic novels. I also spend a lot of time with Photo-books.

Movies: I'm all over the map with movies. I have no problem jumping from a German Expressionist film or French New Wave film to a Romantic Comedy. Some of my favorites are the Star Wars Saga, most of Luis Bunuel's films, Some Like it Hot, Nosferatu, Singin in the Rain, Love Actually, Unhitched...yeah see, all over the map.

Shows: I'm all about the British Comedies. Monty Python's Flying Circus, Black Books, The IT Crowd, Spaced. I also love The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Game of Thrones, The Newsroom...among many others. If the plot or jokes are good then I'm in.

Music: Music is my a major factor in my life. Many of my artworks are inspired by music directly. with the exception of modern pop, modern country, rap/hip-hop, and electronic/techno/house music I listen to it. a very short list of the bands I listen to regularly is
The Beatles
Pink Floyd (pre Darkside of the Moon)
The Clash
The Velvet Underground
Mumford and Sons
Television
The Undertones
T.Rex
Trampled by Turtles
Mudhoney
Dinosaur Jr.
Debussy
Tchaikovsky
Ella Fitzgerald
and the list goes on and on.
The six things I could never do without
Sarcasm & Irony
My process of art making
My extensive record collection
The occasional Human Interaction
My camera
Food/Water/Shelter (because I would Die without those...quite literally)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The current project I am working on or future projects. I also spend a great deal of time in existential thoughts
On a typical Friday night I am
Either working in my studio or out with a small group of friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I spend a lot of time in my own head which sometimes leads to bouts of depression. My art is both the cause and treatment for my emotional state.
You should message me if
If you think we could have some great conversations. It would help if you understand the creative process of the mind.
