My self-summary
I recently went to Roswell on a road trip and walking down the main street where local shop owners decorate their store front windows with DIY, folky, alien art installations was incredibly charming. The most unconventional and unexpected material decisions in the most corny situations. Let's use this printer from 1990 to make a spaceship, and let's take a scene from the Sistine chapel and do it with aliens. It was silly, and it was so fun, and imaginative; I loved it. I like weird things like that, where people improvise and are their own strange selves.
What I’m doing with my life
"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop to look around once in a while, you might miss it."
-Ferris Bueler

I work for an architectural restoration company. I'm also a painter and occasional writer. I read a lot. I take care of a fern named Herby.

Not giving myself over to the "machine men, with machine minds, and machine hearts."
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm generally not narcissistic enough to ask people, so I don't have a reliable average. But I hope they notice that I'm not a spy.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
-How to be present.
-How thinking about being present doesn't help.
-If its somehow arrogant, or supposed to be funny, to display my own self awareness.
-Do I think being "meta" is funny just because its meta?
-Does that make me a hipster?
-Why am I writing this down?
-...that was definitely a hipster joke.
- :(
- So was that.
You should message me if
You want to go to the Penn Museum and buy me a cup of coffee. More than once. If you know what I mean ;) That's two cups of coffee. Maybe $5, at most. If you know what I mean ;). U.S.D.
