My self-summary
I moved out to Los Angeles nine years ago from Maine after completing a two year film school degree. While I do miss the fall, I'm really glad to not have to shovel snow, rake leaves, or deal with mosquitos. They're a real pain in the ass.

I'm a really out-going person and I can turn the most mundane situations into something fun - if I have to be doing it, I'm going to have fun, damn it! I'd rather go out then stay at home... most of the time.

I enjoy hiking, a day at the beach, running, watching movies (old, new, whatever, I just love movies). Exploring new places and trying new things. The outdoors - camping, skiing, canoeing/kayaking, rafting. I recently got into video games (bought my first Xbox!) I'm really, really terrible but I don't give up easily so I'll beat Red Dead Redemption eventually.

I'm also pessimistically optimistic about life.
What I’m doing with my life
Managing a movie theater to pay the bills. I also love movies. I definitely don't do it because I love people..... Working on some side projects in film and television. Working with a friend to get some short films going.

Running - did the LA Marathon and would like to do it again. But, a Triathlon is going to be in my future. I think.

Volunteering - just started my 3rd year doing after school tutoring for a local non-profit. I'm almost 30 and I still can't do sixth grade math. The kids are learning so much from me.

Exploring LA.
I’m really good at
Editing, writing, talking about movies, photography. Making people laugh, making sure they have a good time, and being completely self-depricating.

Being extremely witty and sarcastic. And rolling my eyes. And making fun of you. If I don't make fun of you, it means I don't like you - it's how I show affection.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm a really fast talker.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
I would really like to start traveling.

Also, why has Dunkin' Donuts not ventured farther west. This is a seriously missed opportunity. And I want my damn Dunkin' Donuts coffee. UPDATE: DD arrives in LA sometime 2015. I'll never need to move home now.
On a typical Friday night I am
Unfortunately working :/ Just the type of job I have. But, it's a fairly flexible schedule.

But, if I have the night off, I'm with friends - either catch a movie or hit up a bar. Someplace with live music is cool. Or, whatever people have in mind. I'm open.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a fear of wet naps.
You should message me if
You're awesome.

Looking for new friends!
