My self-summary
I am social, spend quite a bit of time with family, and am good at upkeep to maintain old friendships.

I aspire to have meaningful things, not things for status, and I'd like to have a living room where people gather to plan & organize.

One night, this is where I'd like to find myself sitting with a close friend or two, having a cold drink on a balmy night: http://youtu.be/wFpeM3fxJoQ.
What I’m doing with my life
Uncling x 2--I have two wonderful nephews whom I spend a lot of time with while I'm at home.

Restorative Justice Programs rather than the computer ones. I'm currently a program manager working with counties and agencies on RJP.

Art show birthday party for 2016. I tend to push this back.
I’m really good at
creating community wherever I go. coordination boo ya
The first things people usually notice about me
That depends on you and the context we meet in.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: My Side of the Mountain, The Sparrow, and Descent into Chaos. Under the Banner of Heaven is some dark shit.

Movies: Terminator 2--true story, The Last Unicorn, Kung-Fu Hustle

Music: Whatever my up-to-date friends send. I love good vocals and smart lyrics. Ben Harper, Ani Di Franko, Lauryn Hill and the Coup all use to be staples. Aloe Blacc.

Food: every man should know his way around a kitchen.
The six things I could never do without
I think what OKC really means is "What physical objects do you want to define yourself through" so in the spirit of identity totemism:

-My insulated Klean Kanteen tumbler (unpaid advertisement)
-Wood tipped metal chopsticks
-a good backpack
-comfortable shoes
-computer stuffs
-tupperware
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Those awkward moments when you feel uncomfortable and what the best way to respond to them in the future.
On a typical Friday night I am
Commuting. But in my dream journal, I'm drinking with friends while working on a collaborative project.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My cat died the night I came out to my mother. Rest in peace metro!
You should message me if
...you are out, have depth, can engage with a diverse group of people, and are looking to date--I don't have expectations on where that goes.
