My self-summary
Open, perceptive, easy going guy looking for the same. I'm originally from Chicago but I've been in Austin for almost 7 years now. I'm patiently waiting for the year I can finally call myself an Austinite, but alas I don't think the natives will ever grant me that title. I've recently gotten into the tech space and have been loving every minute of it. When I'm not falling down a rabbit hole of code, can be found outside away from the computer looking for new green spots and swimming holes to bring my dog, Lana. Hiking, kayaking, biking, swimming, and camping are some of our favorite activities. And of course, I also enjoy exploring all of the unique spots and discovering all the great food in this city, especially in good company.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a JavaScript software engineer working in downtown Austin.
The first things people usually notice about me
It's always the eyes. One time when I was getting my braces adjusted at the orthodontist, one if the technicians called over all the other technicians around to stare at my eyes while I was stuck with spacers in my mouth. They then proceeded to argue about who's daughter I was going to date. Needless to say none of them got a chance.

- Close family and friends
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The origins of life, humanity, and society. Also how extremely odd almost all human behavior is.
On a typical Friday night I am
Depends on the Friday. Sometimes it's downtown to have a particularly boozey night with friends, sometimes it's hanging out at a quiet bar having deep conversations. I could be staying in and recovering with some good pickings on Netflix or catching up on homework, much to my dismay.
You should message me if
You've gotten this far and think we'd be a good match!
