Hmm, about me... I enjoy running - I'm not very good at it but all the same it's a great way to keep in shape.
Reading is also a great way to pass the time. I read a lot of biographies - you can learn a lot about life and learn from the mistakes of others by reading about their lives! I also love comic books - okay, I'm a dork, admitting it is the first step to recovery... in particular the X-men comics are good. I read trashy magazines as well because they're just plain entertaining. I'm also getting back into reading scholarly work (nerd, again) to stay at my best for my new job.
I love to travel. I actually have an associate's degree in travel and tourism administration which was the biggest waste of money but a lot fun! I really want to go to Australia and visit all 50 states (31 down, 19 to go - but do the Dakotas really count??).
Some people are surprised to learn that I have 3 degrees. I have an Associates Degree in Travel and Tourism, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (I thought I was going to be psychiatrist for the longest 30 seconds ever - then i met Organic Chem and said nope - i also found a new passion around that time so it all worked out for the best). I also have my master's degree in higher education with an emphasis in counseling and student affairs. I was really lucky to come out of one the best programs in country.
I also enjoy just relaxing with no agenda. Just hanging out by the pool or laying around being a bum.
My favorite drinks are mojitos and strawberry daquiris. Though I'll throw back a beer too.
